I really hope it gets fixed because I'm pretty deep in, starting over would cost me countless hours of progression so i absolutely want to avoid that.
That's how it is with in progress games, and insisting on keeping old saves often causes bugs.
It may be fixed, but depending on what causes the bug it may take more time to fix than is really worth it when the next set of content might break the save entirely.
You can also try a backup save, use the cheat for items/wine, and see if that gets through. I noticed in my runs using item/clothing cheats that they didn't negatively impact the game, but I wouldn't advance time too far with cheats if what others said is true. Plus, with some quests like Mira and apparently now Dani, having some time component element, that makes sense that it could cause problems.
To your other comment about Rachel and softlocks, similar things happened to me with her but eventually she just started appearing in the gym again on certain nights (it was random from what I could tell), but much later like around 3am. She also goes to the soccer boys, but they don't acknowledge that she's there which maybe is just a matter of there being no content for her there yet. As for the bitching, she appears there randomly for me too only in certain bush terrain that triggers the image of her being there. It doesn't actually show her icon as there which can be frustrating. She also apparently goes to night beach volleyball sometimes too, but that's also random I think and there's also no scenes that I could find there either.

damn that sucks, i guess the safe bet would be to just wait until the game is complete and play it then, I'm really not a fan of starting new with every update
I mean, most of the time it's fine but I personally never get too attached to a given save file. Obviously it's down to your preferences if you want to risk it or restart with updates (every time or if the save breaks).
Using old saves has been known to problems. But starting over isn't really an issue with this game because 1) it's very front-loaded, so getting up to speed playing normally doesn't take very long 2) the cheat menu.
Note that even though both in the game and in previous builds you only joined the dance girls two days each week, for some reason you can join the dance girls Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in this build. Dunno if that's an accident or deliberate, but beside the point. Over the course of 4 in-game weeks you could be right where you want to be.
If that's still too much work for you, you can always use the cheat menu. There's a button there that says "VIP party."
For the love of all that is holy, make anal sex a toggleable option.
I'm sitting here savescumming to avoid it.

I know but i really hate going through the game again and again, that's like re-watching a movie i just saw yesterday It's just not enjoyable for me that way. I also restarted the game last 'stable' update because of again more old save issues so I'm not doing that again.. Yeah I think I'm done, I'll either wait for when it's complete or for Sam_Tail to fix these inconsistencies.
That's why i only download the new version once a year usually

If your dance stage has progressed too far it may not trigger properly; In that case, using cheat menu to roll back to 12 or 13 may solve the issue.

So a bit of a question, regarding Anabel, the walkthrough hasn't been updated so I have no idea what to do in this type of situation, how do I get Anabel back into the troupe after having her leave? Or is that not in the game yet?
AFAIK she's going to be gone permanently, and even if there will be a route to get her back it's not in the game yet.
First you need to make sure she didn't get fucked at the party. It will require a bit convincing but later after she can eventually return to the troupe. But if you let her get fucked she is gone permanently.
Wrong it is supposed to be in game but for that Anabel must not have sex at the party.
Make vaginal toggleable while you're at it.
How to trigger sex with Lake dealer and beach prostitution on an anal only run? They don't seem to be available.
IIRC she never actually leaves the group if she doesn't have sex at the party. Admittedly I was pretty tired when I played through that the one time, so I could be wrong.
She leave the group after the first VIP party no matter is she get fucked or not. But she only come back if she isn't.
