I got it right (I think) by getting close her home and eavesdropping the convo with the writer frog, the one were Claire gets hostile and basically exposes her motives, another important part is talking with the lonely kid near the doctor hut.How do I find the posioner? I know it was Claire, but what event do I need to trigger in order to get it 'right'?
Chances are good the human party gets way too much attention again. It's always the same with fantasy. Starts out interesting and if enough people cry for more humans it gets boring fast.I want more Marigold and Ulfa not another human
To be fair the story explained that furrys are a dying race, which is why Merrygold wants MCs help in finding those dorment of her kind and bring them back to the furry site.Chances are good the human party gets way too much attention again. Sadly this happens quite to often. I love the human MC female furry combination if I wanted only humans I would play one of the thousands of games already out there. Worse is if they replace furry characters with some random cat girl or only the male are furries and the females of the same species look like humans with body paint.Chances are good the human party gets way too much attention again. I still think this game goes in the right direction that's why I still support it and furry characters still are getting added. I think the next probably will be the cat in the library. Which sucks for me because I prefer canine furries or hyenas
I initially was not thrilled I couldn't change the main character's name, but it quickly became apparent that the MC here is actually his own character, and it's to the point where I would actually be annoyed if the devs decided to implement name-changing. Personally, I can't stand it when games have a pre-named MC where he's just a blank slate, but I also can't stand it when the player has the option of naming the character, only for him to basically have a character already, which conflicts with the self-insertion. However, if you really must, you might try the following:The game seems promising and I like what I see of the art but a pre-named MC is my biggest pet peeve in RPGM games and there doesn't seem to be a re-name option so I will pass. Best of luck to the dev.
Like Evangelion-01 said, it actually makes sense in this case for there to be many humans, and this is ultimately a porn game, so sexual encounters with them is inevitable, but I do hope there will be more furry in the next update; I do trust in the devs because they specifically advertise the game as "for furry lovers". Although, I was a bit disappointed in this new one because of how short it feels, rather than necessarily the lack of furry (although I do wonder if there will be a threesome with Hannah and Grey in the future...), but then again I only started playing this after the last major update, so maybe this shortness is normal.Chances are good the human party gets way too much attention again. That would be an interesting twist, I would love to lead a furry revolution taking over the capital or atheist force coexistence and then set sail with my furry crew and plunder the high seas.Following this expectation of/hope for furry scenes, I am very curious as to what Grey was suggesting about the Capital, since the implication that furry would be popular implies particular decadence, given that furries in this game are seen as basically terrible monsters. Perhaps there might be some fetishists that had managed to produce a temporary furry-fication potion, or illegal brothels with captured furry slaves?
I appreciate a thought-out and thoughtful response, that is a rare thing 'round these parts. I have no interest in a back and forth, even if it is in kind disagreement, so I'll simply leave it at an agree to disagree.I initially was not thrilled I couldn't change the main character's name, but it quickly became apparent that the MC here is actually his own character, and it's to the point where I would actually be annoyed if the devs decided to implement name-changing. However, if you really must, you might try the following:
You could replace all instances of "Eirik" to "[Insert Name Here]" using Notepad++ or some other text editor that allows replacing words in multiple files (also, make sure it isn't case sensitive when you do it, in order to get "eirik" as well as "Eirik") . Be sure to rename ~10 or so files in "www\img" that get referenced in the files, that contain "eirik" (and possibly in other folders but I think that should be the only one you have to worry about). While I haven't done this for this game, I would assume you would only have to change at least the instances in the "www\locales" folder (not the "TFI\locales" folder, since I think that should be just the default one; this is all because the default language isn't English) and the "www\js" folder which references the locales folder, though possibly "www\data" also (as is normally the case for other games; might do it just to be sure).
You could also try re-packaging the game with a name changer. All you need is RPGMMV (can find it for free fairly easily; I don't know if this site has a download link but you can try Reddit's r/piracy megathread for starters) to implement the option to name the character at the game start (New Event > Contents > Event Commands page 3 > Scene Control > Name Input Processing), and again Notepad++ or some other text editor that allows replacing words in multiple files (since there's no way to do that in RPGMMV without manually going over every text event); you would replace "Eirik" with "\N[1]", and as said, while I haven't done this for this game, I would assume you would only have to change at least the instances in the "www\locales" folder and the "www\js" folder which references the locales folder, though possibly "www\data" also.
It may sound like a bit of work, but it really shouldn't take long or require much effort.
>As for going into Notepad and renaming every instance of Eirik, that does seem like tedious workAs for going into Notepad and renaming every instance of Eirik, that does seem like tedious work and would that stay persistent through the save file, or would I have to do that every time? If I have to do it every time a new version of the game comes out, then that's just not worth it to me. The idea of repacking is interesting and something I may look into. Thanks for the idea.
