In practice Impregnation would be such a meaningless tag it'd basically be bloat like the "big tits" tag. Like, what kind of game would put impregnation front and center but stop short and never move on to pregnancy content?

Separating the Impregnation from Pregnancy tag isn't so much about wanting impregnation without pregnancy, it more about making sure impregnation is actually part of the game. Seen far too many games with Pregnancy tag that don't have any Impregnation it just preggo sex, and on top of that plenty of those it isn't even the MC's baby. Situations like this are far less common where Impregnation is taking place without expanding into the Pregnancy side, but having the tags separated would have still been beneficial in this instance.
