I'd say I agree, but I think it would be unfair to all the other developers out there who are making or have made good games that I've just yet to try.
For me personally, in the past 2 years I've already ran through a large chunk of the most popular games on the site, some I haven't tried, some I just won't(but probably will eventually).
For the most part, there were way more games that I liked than I had otherwise thought. I've started to pick apart what I like and don't like in an adult or H-game, so if I'm not feeling super experimental, I probably won't try it as I've already figured out, for lack of a better word, my palate.
I will say that as of late, lets say within the past 6 months, there haven't been very many NEW good games that I've stumbled upon or see blowing up.
The majority of the games I pay attention to had their initial release 1+ year ago, or have been in development for longer(or completed). I'm a bit saddened that there hasn't been anything new that has caught my eye, maybe its just gone under my radar?
It is unfortunate, I won't lie. I try to browse and look for hidden gems, but more often then not I keep scrolling past the same games I tried and didn't like, or games I feel confident won't be good or interesting to me. I'm sort of just stuck waiting for the next big update on a game that I support or keep tabs on.
Like the only things I'm really looking forward to over this next 6 months to a year are the next releases to Eternum, Goldenboy updating NTR Legend, and the next release of Winter Memories by Otome. Other than that, I'm a bit lost.
I wish the featured page showed recently released games that are getting a lot of traffic, or a lot of interaction for how recent the release is in proportion to it's review count.
For example: A game released or added to F95 within the past month, week, little to no reviews, but lots of comments and post engagement. It'd be easy to pick up on games early that could be glossed over or don't get enough publicity to stay crowdfunded.
