How does it work I'm high enough level the witch has brought it up but nothing is coming up on my current hunt for it.
if your character has high enough lust (75-80 or so?) a heartshaped button appears and a minigame opens.
you have 3 actions: submit, resist and subdue. which have different effects on the ghost's arousal, and yours. if your arousal reaches 100 before the ghosts' then you lose and wake up at home iirc. if the reverse, you win the subquest.

I'm hoping this can lead into different mechanics with ghosts in the future

Given the preview pics the chances are slim, but i still prefer a direct answer: Is playing as lesbian possible or are dicks unavoidable?

note: If you rename your character to (something other than Mary) the game still refers to her as Mary.

I'm extremely happy to see development going so well, and the variety of content that is being added looks extremely interesting.


I will admit I have been waiting on retrying the game due to how dry the writing is during the core gameplay loop and early game.

The smutty evidence system and huge variety of media for the ghosts groping and gradually having sex with the protag over the course of a hunt is excellent, but most of it lacks any writing or reactions on her part.
Since evidence collection and the generic ghost events take up the majority of the game-time, I feel that part should be emphasized more in the writing to make the game less repetitive and more exciting.

You could also get really creative with it, like having specific reactions for individual types of evidence/foreplay that progressively get more depraved the more used to it the protagonist gets.
When the ghosts cum inside her mouth without her realizing it, her discovery could go from shock to yearning to relishing to addiction.

The spirit-box could be used for cat-calls, or maybe remarks as she becomes a more famous and notorious slut among the underworld.

Sex stats or traits that don't have any gameplay effect, but emphasizes her gradual corruption in an "appearance" tab as she becomes familiar with different types of foreplay and sex, or as certain body parts become more sensitive, would add a sense of permanence without needing much in the way of content.

Ambitiously, companions could have their own reactions that change overtime, or conversations between them, and a much more corrupted protag, as she reminisces on the naivety of being a rookie ghost hunter.


Hopefully such a blatant wishlist isn't obnoxious, but I think working smarter not harder on content that is often experienced verses one-off or situational events would greatly help the game.

I'm really glad to see how much support the game is getting! Great work!

Is it possible to have explanations on items we can buy? Like I bought some steampunk looking box, it didn't say what it was or did - I thought I could then see it in my inventory but it's nowhere to be seen.

Edit: So I think I figured out what the thing does, still would be great if it just said so in the shopping screen.

the guides in game are your friends so check them out for help with the game (side note to add save the game to the disk so you don't lose your progress in the future and have to start again)

I have no idea what I'm doing in this game.
The long and short of it is you're trying to figure out what ghost is haunting a house. You do this by finding evidence of that ghost. You can check your journal and record evidence you find in it to isolate which ghost it is.

Talk to the witch at the witch's house to take ghost hunting jobs, and then before midnight head home and go to haunted houses from there.

You have a variety of tools at the bottom of the screen in haunted houses, try to use each one in every room to get the hang of them. If you can't use a tool for any reason, the game will explain why. Check your journal to see what kinds of evidence that you can find, for example: EMF 5 on the EMF reader.

While you're searching for evidence, the ghost is harassing and hunting you. If things get too dangerous, you may need to flee the house before finding all of the evidence, at which point you can just make a guess off of what you've found and hope you get it right.

The areas outside of ghost hunts are where you buy additional tools, take jobs, research ghosts for additional information on them, improve your stats, etc. Additional information can prove invaluable for quickly and safely identifying a ghost.

Things can get more complicated than that as you keep playing, such as ghosts leaving additional evidence to confuse you, harder jobs that only reveal 2 pieces of evidence instead of 3, or ghosts stalking and possessing you. Don't worry about these until you get the hang of the basics though.
