I don't really understand the cursed item stuff. Is it the tentacle scenes? I thought that was from another ghost. I just keep running away, that's the only option.

Like that you can find a partner online, hope there is more variety with partners or a new ghost next time.

There is a website where the online version of this game is updated fairly quickly (unlike the game developers). It doesn't suit me personally, because the browser translator doesn't work there, but maybe someone will be interested:
