At the moment the relationships seem pretty forced (as in, these LI just "force" the MC to do sexual stuff with them) so I wonder if it really is a dating sim and not some harem game.

Yes, I'm personally really tired of LI's being camgirls, like some other people are tired of the incest format or w/e else. So it's nice not having to waste time on something that I'll be disappointed in anyways. This way I also avoid getting pissed for a bit when it's revealed in game. There really isn't anything to think on at that point.

Minimal choices, guessing from the main picture, 8 main LIs with the possibility of sidequest/quickies added.
MC is an idiot, doesn't actively pursue anyone successfully, instead stumbles into every sexual situation he finds himself in.
The moment I knew I was going to skip the rest of this game... Day 1, new teacher accepted an offer a student *that is in his class* makes to follow her into the library (that she has a duplicate key for) and gets a blowjob from her. MC does not actually know that student's age.

Just started playing it and so far the MC acts like a fucking teenager; dude is a teacher but feels like a lost kid among the girls.

The whole thing feels reversed, like the MC is the teenager and the girls the adults. Was baffled to learn that he was a teacher... so I just skipped text for the most part for the scenes.

I understand what you say, but I guess I don't really get it... afaik, you are not forced to pursue the camgirl as a LI, and it is made very clear who that is when you first meet them. I also can't get my head around being OK to play a male MC with a harem and at the same time labelling a camgirl a slut... is that not some form of hypocrisy?

Probably not intentional. Some artists are just lazy so take an existing char in Daz and put a different hairstyle on it and call it a day or just buy it in whole or in part from some other 3D artist instead of make them from scratch themselves. I swear to god after 500 or so AVN's I've seen Jill's face from Being A Dik on like a dozen other chars. Or Alice's hair from Pine Falls also on Lexi from Leap Of Faith and 100 other girls, sometimes with just color and highlight changes. If only their pussies were also more unique rather than the same cookie-cutter clones. In the real world pussies are as unique as fingerprints or DNA after all.

Meh, it has that type of content and it's a harem game, chances are it's gonna be either an all or nothing type of harem when it comes to the routes, since most harem games are like that, so no real reason to get invested just to get actually pissed when I wasted a lot of time on it and it ended up being a waste. That, and I kinda don't want to support games with content I don't like, even if it's just the number of clicks and downloads.
Harem games are inherently wish fulfilment, I'd rather they stay that way rather than force any sort of realism or fairness on them. On that same note, I'm fine if it's hypocrisy, I don't truly care. I personally play harem games for the power fantasy, and part of that is the waifus only being sexual/romantic with the MC and maybe each other. A LI being a cam girl goes against that and while I was okay or could suffer through it in the past, now I can't find the time or energy to do so.
Long story short? Is it hypocrisy/misogyny/[insert other buzzword here]? I don't know but I also literally couldn't care less if it is.

Yeah. Now we are talking about Camgirl who shares sexual content to other men and fuck other men at the same time. So then I'm out of the game. In the game I play, women are not shared with anyone in any way. Not through a camera and not physically. Not for women, not for men. "IF" this is a harem game, then the whole thing is fighting against it and I will walk out immediately with many other Harem brothers with me.
In some games it can be avoided, like College Bound, where the best character in the game has to be thrown out of the story when she is a camgirl, but here, apparently, it can't be avoided when the MC is willing to do all the shit with that slut.

I get that people have their kinks and feelings when it comes to porn content but the hypocrisy is absolutely fucking baffling.
Player: I want to have sex with all of these incredibly horny, sexy, and provocative women. But if they even DARE look at another NPC. That bitch is headed to the curb.
I am repeatedly confounded to the mental gymnastics that some players have to go through to condemn a female character in a harem game, that is even remotely portrayed in a realistic way, and I use that term very loosely in the porn game genre.
Like, look at it from the point of view of a game, where all the NPCs had an active presence and while you're plowing away at one NPC, they literally have to take a number and wait in queue? Might as well play a sex slave simulator and slap the harem tag on it.

That's because you and I are looking for a harem game with a hint of realism. With female characters that are full-formed people as well as LIs.
Others just want a rotating group of adoring lovers that don't really have any aspirations other than being MC's girl and having him solve all of her problems. Total power fantasy wish fulfillment.
IMO, there are a few games that do #2 well so that it doesn't come across as insulting to the women in the game, but the end-game (MC with all girls at once) always requires a suspension of disbelief to be accepted. Magic, mind control, chosen-one type stuff make it more "realistic" than just having the girls say "we all love this one dude with a monster cock".
And then there is the subset of players who fancy themselves "alpha males" and will only gift themselves upon females who are untouched by the hands of other men. These ones we just ignore.
