The game looked promising, but there are too may things in the game that are designed to make the game tedious and just not fun. The last straw was trying to read a book in the HQ. The very slow and un-skippable text. I deleted the game forever as soon as it hit page 3.
Edit: To be clear, this is simply feedback to this and any other game developers that you shouldn't do this, assuming you actually want people to play your games.

Game works in Joiplay
Works for me when disabling Fossil's plugin order check via the patch (though before I found the patch I manually commented out two checks in FOSSIL.js). Extract patches.json from the .zip and put it into the game folder (same folder Game.exe is in). Its playable, if you see graphical glitches disable WebGL2 (three dots top right -> RPG settings -> Use WebGL2 for RPGMV games). Found the patch after googling for almost an hour at
since I was annoyed I had to remember what I had to comment out where after every update.

As a fellow Joiplay enjoyer I need to add 2 things for what you said. First off the patch for the FOSSIL issue is always available on the Joiplay discord incase the patch is not up to date.
However more importantly.... YOU MUST HAVE THE CURRENT VERSION OF JOI PLAY!!!! You must NEVER get Joiplay from the google play store. That version is archaic and hasn't been updated since before Covid because google demanded the program follow rules that take your control away from the phone. I believe the version from Patreon is the only completely up to date version of Joiplay. The Joiplay website use to have the current version too, but last time I was there it told me the website that only Patreon was up to date. The website is only used for archiving older versions now.
The patch wont do any good if your Joiplay isnt one of the newer versions. That needs to be in the instructions.

I do, but it depends a bit on what expectations you have. This is not so much a remake, as a kind of homage/follow-up/parallel universe, so you may well be able to play both and like both (or not). One advice though, but coming from someone that did not like some kinks that Combin some time put in his games, use the modded version (if they did not delete it, the link is on the original post for the thread of the original game) - it has some extra content compared with the pure original (including completing some line Combine had not fully exploited), plus it has some kind of "cheat menu" included.
