Ren'Py - Abandoned - The Guy in Charge [v0.21] [totallyoklad9348]

The game is ''unplayable'' at the moment there is just too much grind and most of the time you are just confused and have no idea what to do. The dev will have to either remake the game or make it simpler and less grindy

At the start you will be lost almost all the time without knowing what to do or where to go after, no way to track the women because they are not showed in the map, you need to guess where they are. The same is for the quests, you don't recieve hints about what to do next so you just visit all the rooms until you find something. Even with cheats the game is really grindy, you have to wait days to get an scenes even with maxed stats. I don't understand really well the story because after some days I actived the cheats and maxed everything because the game was really boring, you get 1 point with every interaction (you can get like 3 every day with one girl or 1 point with one and 2 with the other) and the "XXX" scenes trigger after 50 points, so you have to "wait" a lot just for the first "sexual" scene.

I gave this game one star for the renders but that's about it and its more then it deserves the rest is a total mess : grind after grind after grind for no content whatsoever,no hint system on what to do (after a brief introduction you're thrown into the game not knowing what to do,you run around like a headless chicken not knowing how to obtain a new scene or when that scene will occur or what are the specifications on getting that scene) and of course more GRIND.Life is to short to waste it grinding in porn games!

Conclusion:
The Moms looks Hot,Sister is O.K also,but that is about all you can say about this Game,what you will be doing most of the time is repeating the same steps over and over again,and that gets boring with time.

Review of version 0.1

The model for the mother is excellent.

Otherwise, this is a horribly grindy mess of a game that requires 30 in-game days before you can access the one and only sex scene. I realize this is only the first release, but having to grind 17 time periods a day for 30 days is a horribly unbalanced game and a rotten playing experience. Hints would be helpful, but those are not present. Honestly, do developers even play-test their games anymore? I had to open up the script.rpy file and look at the code to determine which thresholds would trigger the scene, and even then I had to use both the cheat console and open up the Ren'Py console to manually add 10 game days to the day variable. Even the cheat console is useless because you can't use it to add game days which results in an even longer grind.

The dialogue is repetitive and not particularly good. Any teasing tension is squandered due to the grind.

Not recommended

EDIT: This game has come a long way. Render quality has improved. Things overall have improved. Bumping to 4 stars.

Render Quality 2/5: Indoor render quality is terrible. Outdoor lighting quality is mostly average but outdoor lighting at the pool looks pretty good.

Character model quality: The mom is hot and gets 5/5. The sister is attractive and gets 4/5.

Story 3/5: The story is sub par, nothing new here. It gets the job done but doesn't cause a mind fuck (intense sexual emotion).

Grind 2/5 - The grind sucks.

As of v0.1 the game has no NTR content but it does allow you to screw the mother.

You see the mom in many hot ways like in a bikini, robe, bra & panties, etc. You'll see the sister in some various sexy outfits as well.

The dev of the game needs to study Daz Studio ghost lights to get the indoor lighting fixed asap.

I will update the review as time passes. If he fixes the problems I mentioned the game will easily get 3/5 stars from me. If the story improves to a good quality mind fuck it easily goes to 4/5 or even 5/5.

GRIND

The premise is hot but unfortunately the story and renders don't deliver.

If you're going to have an NTR game, have the guy cucking you look stronger than you and NOT YOUR BROTHER.

Doesn't show much promise unfortunately because creators willing to do NTR are few and far between. Hard pass./.

GRIND

Maybe (just maybe) at future can have something to offer. But not today; it's a "game" where you're doing exactly the samething over and over again and you're only "watching yourself". If watch TV, then appear an image of your game character, if take a shower, again you, if workout, again you. And just that! No character advance, no path, no nothing

game is in desperate need of an event structure, the almost total RNG progression with a lot of grind gets old too fast and is highly clumbersome

Grindy as fuck. So much grind for so little reward and no progression whatsoever unless you do a specific thing in a specific room ant a specific time with no clue as to what those might be.

The girls are good looking, but if there's sexual content in this game I can't find how to access it and I've been playing for 2 hours now. Grind grind grind, oh look new scene. Continue grinding for an hour, oh look I found a scene by watching TV alone at a random time of day.

The only reason this didn't get a 1 star was because the renders are set up nicely. But the grind killed this. Deleted from my computer, won't try it again unless that grind is fixed.

Also for some reason the girls' lust only goes up if you're an asshole to them and that's really stupid.
