It is easy to do in 3 weeks now and people bitching it is too hard, and people will, either way, we live in a world where failed (like there is successful) gender studies students who can't even pass a fucking tutorial.
It is not entirely easy, nor entirely hard. And personally I wouldn't be as negative about the general state of things, but what I think is that many people playing games for the girls aren't too much interested in complex gameplay. Especially if it means skipping girl contact for a while.
Of course there are always options to compromise, so that interested players have more of a challenge:
(a) difficulty levels changing the outcome effects of events. Of course here it would mean to rewrite quite a few lines from the hardcoded (it seems) "+2 discipline" to a variable amount.
(b) being able to change the time limit or abandon it completely. The latter of course wouldn't make too much sense in story.
Personally I am not a huge fan of time limits in general "do x in y turns", but opinions differ and in the end it is for
Mary and Louise Altos and Herdone to decide. And that can indeed reasonably only be done once all mechanisms are in place, so we really know whether it'll be a cakewalk or nigh impossible.
