That are some strong assumptions though, a classic false dilemma. A bit like "yeah, child labor is bad but otherwise they will have to prostitute themselves."

Making content that people care about actually does require some talent. Yes, react videos are done easily but doing a "react video" which people enjoy, watch till the end, and then come back for more might not be as straightforward. Similarily you could say that writing doesn't take talent (every kid can do it and almost every kid starts a story which may last two pages). Everybody can create characters in a game, the art is making people care about these characters. Of course that is heavily individual and I dislike a lot of content everywhere but if you or me were going to make videos playing games or showing mods, odds are we'd be getting 7 subscribers between us.

Successfully exploiting parasocial relationships to milk idiots of their money on twitch is absolutely a talent and skill that takes work to succeed at. Anyone can theoretically do so but only certain people can manage the mix of looks, charisma, and personality to really be successful at such a thing. It's never just 'because a chicks in it'

What's good and what's not depends on the viewer. We would probably even have similar opinions on what we like and do not like. And as you, I regard the act of creating a game, or a story, or a movie, higher than a reaction video, or any influencer stuff, or what else is somewhat popular.

But "anyone can make a video and have it be successful" is just simply wrong. There are gazillions of videos with 317 views. I couldn't make one (otherwise I might do or become a producer and let others do the work). You couldn't make one I would guess. Yes, some stuff is catering to a young male audience and the major talents needed are a girl's boobs, but even those are plentyful and many are not successful.

Speaking as someone who's both made Youtube videos before and made videogames (neither of them very good and many of them unreleased, which only proves the point that both are hard), you're severely underestimating the talent required. MxR doesn't pull views by just sitting in a chair and looking at memes, the way you're saying they do. Anyone could do that, and they'd get like 13 views, and it'd be the most boring video in the world.

Like Let's Players, Henry and Jeannie are prop comedians, and their draw comes from their comedy. Nobody watches MxR to see memes, if they wanted that they could go to Reddit and get way more of the content they want. They come for the relationship dynamic between the two co-hosts and they come for the humor both of them inject in their own way. Making a video like MxRs is like preparing a stand-up act, and for every 30 minute "let's force my girlfriend to sit through a light BDSM porn game for laughs" video is 3 hours of writing, 2 hours of recording, and 10 hours of editing. It's mentally taxing to make up jokes on the fly that land regularly, and it's mentally taxing to keep up a commentary for 2 or 3 hours while playing a game. You don't realize that if you've not tried to do it - but as an aside, this is also why Let's Players also tend to be garbage at the games they're playing. They're busy being comedians and can't spare the neurons required to make big-brain MLG plays. They're two different skills.

Twitch Thottery is the same way; on top of being wildly overstated (a new user joining twitch will rarely see thots on the main page, 95% of the recommendeds are male in fact), it also requires a set of skills, this time those of a gravure model. I'm sorry you and I are too ugly to do it, but it doesn't mean we need to reject that it's a talent. Once again you only wind up seeing the hot tub stream that the clippers take out of context, you don't see the required social maneuver to make everyone feel seen and heard on a personal level, the artistic talent necessary to get their makeup good enough to draw a successful crowd, the behind-the-scenes business dealings and contracting required for those weird fashion sponsorships. None of that shit is interesting, so it's not bandied about, but it comprises the majority of the job. This is a capitalistic environment we're working with here; if they weren't providing a product of value to someone, nobody would be buying their product. And at least the Twitch Thots and Youtubers aren't lying about what they're selling. They're selling themselves.

brother, listen here, man. I don't really get what the problem is, but the more you explain the more you sound jealous. This issue has been going over and over ever since 2017. Just let people do what they love doing and let them enjoy it. You live your own life and they do theirs. Let's just separate it at that, ayt? Our time living in this world is limited. As far as videos go, I have had some where I put months of work into, almost won awards with, and still can't get more than a few thousand hits, and others I threw together in a few hours that have millions, you just never know... And how much skill and work that goes into it, matters almost not at all.

While his mod vids are funny, I just don't get why it matters what job is harder, what takes more talent, or whatever. It takes more skill to do a lot of thankless jobs, where you get no credit at all too. Has really no barring on the discussion. Not sure why it matters at all.

Well, that depends, are we talking me and my personal desires, or the HM and what he wants?

He wants all the girls to do well, if nothing else, just to prove that his methods work. As for me, I would not lose any sleep if a couple of them did flunk out and get sold into slavery or whatever it is they plan to do with them.

That said, there is no military school for them, they might be given to the military, for at best basic training, or at worst as a toy/Guinea pig, but not to get a nice career. Military school is a normal school for brats whose parents don't want to deal with them, so they learn discipline, it is also training to be officers, this is not something they will do for these girls, they will not be trained to have power, they will be grunts, test subjects, slaves, cannon fodder, and worse.

Military school makes it sound like they will be given another chance after this (albeit a hard one), but no, this is their last chance. If they fail here, their lives are effectively over.

For me, events like nudity beach or other events with explicit nudity at this point would break game pacing and chronology.

I always assumed that punishment system and school rules are the backbone of this game. I also assumed, when the rule to strip naked during punishment finally come to pass, it will be a huge milestone (like a ability to punish girls by MC) because of embarrassment of this situation. If games introduce events with explicit nudity earlier then this rule will no longer have so strong impact when it finaly occurs. IMO this would be very serious plot breaker.
