Well, betas CAN completely mess up saves and progress, so some people don't like them. (Ofc, you can always keep an old save around to be sure that doesn't really hurt you)

for all of you without premium on mega, you can use app "megadownloader" it bypasses limits
I can verify that. I just used the "Download with MEGA desktop App" option, and it worked just fine, even at 6 GB on a free account.
