So I noticed today on the Patreon the advertisement about the Staff...
The picture includes Samantha(Your PA) Kate (Nurse) and Maria (security Guard).
Is there any content with these 3 at all? Have I missed something? I know you can go on a date with smaantha but as far as i know there is almost no content with the other 2. Have i missed something?

Some Sam content in this current update (intertwined with Liz quest) but nothing with the other two.

Honestly, she looks amazing to me, even without her lab coat—especially if that's a generated image of her. Miss Chang looks hotter than ever! Haha. I just wish this game would get a major upgrade/facelift, moving away from the Honey Select/anime-style 3D models it's been using since the beginning. I'd love to see something like DAZ 3D, which I personally prefer, or even an AI-generated photo option. That said, I still really enjoy the game.

If they moved to DAZ I would unfortunately have to scour it from my hard drive with actual sand. What a waste of a perfectly good game it would be. AI would also be bad for a variety of other reasons, but man, DAZ is the ass off the VN world.

That's a pretty harsh take. DAZ has a lot of potential and is great for creating realistic, versatile models. In my opinion, DAZ Genesis 8 & 9 are some of the best models out there—way better than Honey Select 1 & 2. Unless you're talking about some of those awful Genesis 1 or 2 models (like what was used in Lab Rats 2), then I get it, lol. I also love many models in Virt-A-Mate. Not everyone's into anime-style 3D, and while I respect that people enjoy it, it's just not my thing. A lot of it doesn't appeal to me, though some's okay. I get it's popular, but it's not for everyone. I've stuck with this game because I enjoy the mechanics, sandbox, and story, even if the anime style isn't my favorite. I also like some anime-style games, depending on what they are. People have different tastes, and just because it's not your thing doesn't make it a 'waste.' AI has its own benefits, depending on how it's used. I even enjoy hand-drawn games like Innocent Witches, Witch Trainer, Lust and Power, and other styles beyond DAZ. Different strokes for different folks, right?

I get what you're saying. DAZ is great, and I can totally see how it could improve the look of the game. The characters would probably look awesome in DAZ, but at the same time, I'm sort of agreeing with you there—yeah it would feel like a completely different game. Even if I'm not the biggest fan of anime-style models, but I think the ones in The Headmaster are fine, not bad at all. I will admit I find some of the girls cute. Lol. I think it's totally fine, cool if they stick with what they've been using. It's part of what makes the game what it is, and I guess there's no need to reinvent the wheel. I wouldn't mind if they start another game using DAZ, hand-drawn or some total original style, similar to this one. Of course I still want them finish working on The Headmaster first before moving on another game if they decide to do another one. Lol

Given that this dev is working with HS1, it's quite incredible what he was able to achieve so far. I can only hope the next game will use a heavily modded HS2 engine, because honestly nothing 3D from the west looks good with exception of handcrafted models like in Subverse.

Obviously, to each their own, but you've got to admit, DAZ has produced some of the most unsettling characters in the industry.

Give Virt-A-Mate a try—it's imported some of the best DAZ 3D models I've seen, surpassing the quality of what's found in HS1 & HS2, in my opinion. Here on F95 offers many great games with excellent DAZ models, though of course, there are also some not-so-great ones. Personally, the worst DAZ models I've encountered are from the Genesis 1 and 2 characters used in Lab Rats 2. However, with Genesis 8 and 9, DAZ has really stepped up its game, offering some of the best models available, even if there are a few weaker ones I tend to overlook. If you haven't heard of 3DUK, they've created some of the most impressive DAZ models inspired by popular film and video game franchises, available on Render HUD. In fact, Render HUD often offers DAZ models that outshine what you can find on the official DAZ 3D website. But, as you said, it's all about personal preference, to each their own.

That smile is what always gets me. I don't know if it's the specific "lip" they choose for the face or how it's wired to the skeleton or what. The weird "staring into your soul" look they do with the eyes always gets me, but that might be more how they arranged the model/lighting and less DAZ's fault.

it's a mix of everything, I personaly blame the dev's that simply crank up the smile open full face morph to 100% without looking back, also some denoisers mess up the render

All talk about making The Headmaster switch to DAZ seems like a hypothetical question. Reality is that if that happened, all the images would have to be remade from scratch and quite possibly all assets used in the images too. While it may have visual improvements, reality is that the workload is unrealistic. I posted ages ago that this is a discussion for the first year of development and after that you would just have to hope you made the right decision because you are stuck with it.

It's kind of like the posts, which happens from time to time where people argue that it should be a real time rendered game because that way a scene can be made once and clothes can then be switched by the player real time. Ren'Py can't handle such real time rendering and rewriting the entire script for a brand new engine at this point seems like a whole lot of work too. Writing some game for the Unreal or Unity engine, which can take Ren'Py scripts would be awesome, but it would also be a task, which would take ages even if people know what they are doing.
