I honestly just want to know how long it took to script the entire thing in rhyme.
Was pretty fun.
From start to finish the whole thing took me about two weeks to make including the writing, art and coding. Some of that time was also spent designing new bedrooms for the girls and a creating a communal area in the dorms (a side objective for making this special). Although that was working flat out to try to hit the Christmas deadline (this was out on boxing day for patrons). I spent a lot of time on the poem but it was fun to write and I was doing it early morning and late evening while I was taking break from sitting in front of my computer anyway. It's definitely a lot slower going writing in verse, I spent a lot of time with a rhyming dictionary. Some of the lines are adaptations from existing Christmas poems like these ones adapted from both The Night Before Christmas and The Grinch:
“What then to his wondering eyes did appear.”
“But seven sexy schoolgirls, all past their eighteenth year.”
“What happened next? Well, the students they say.”
“The headmaster’s cock grew three sizes that day.”
However, most are entirely mine. Rachel's limmericks I wrote just for this as well. I think the lines I like the most are from just after visiting Liz's room:
"With his presents the girls he was thrilling.”
“But as one sack was emptying another was filling.”
“So as he continued to move boldly forth.”
“Santa’s pole was now pointing north.”
I would read the lines to my wife and if I got a chuckle I knew I was on to something.
