Whole game is about a hopeless situation. Even your journey down the dungeon is seen as a fruitless effort by the population. The whole journey is madness. They don't expect you stay alive or come out intact. You're the hero only because you persevered to the end.

you have to go back to the estate and if I remember correctly you have to talk to the cat and then find a mirror

I've defeated every boss in Mirror and have also gotten two broken discs
only Alma boss room I haven't found yet.

you should talk to that butler again, at least a couple of times, he should tell you that there is a disturbing presence. it should be to the right of the butler, in a dead end street, where the giant head is.

The Fairy bow is in the hidden path with the tree to the right of the glyphs that tell you to look out for hidden paths.

I know this is an old post, but where exactly do you mean? the far hidden path with the corpse by a tree? that leads, at least for me, to a greatsword of parting, not a fairy bow, and the only other hidden path I found just lead to the blood storage thing

An image of what seemed to be a path leading to an item in the Forest of the Blackbeast, that doesn't seem to exist in the version of the game I have, at least not at the location shown

Hello, I'm here to put a rest to the elusive 4th ending or to be precise the 4th portrait found in the doll manor backroom.

To unlock that last ending, is that there is no ending.
Granted this is from an old build before properly translated to English by Kagura but digging through the game file there is a portrait of Alma thanking the player for playing.

I thought there would be a hidden ending where Player slay Alma to free the soul trapped in eternal nightmare or that beating post game you can revisit where Alma Boss room (the one with giant heart mural) to meet the soul of her maker that hinted to end his creation, but nope!
No enemy indicate that, no new map data just this picture.

I played this game probably two years ago but couldn't finish due to life restrain. The game seems interesting ngl and i like its souls resemblances. I normally leave a review when completing games but i don't think i'm gonna complete this one.

Main reasons: The game is slightly too depressing for my liking and i'm not in the mood for that right now. Also, the turn based system is pretty old-fashioned and graphics sorta hard to the eye. I might return someday but for now i want to play something else

It may sound weird, but I remember something like that.
Hmm... after getting third ending with all characters and listening to all bed stories, or either in a specific order, main character's heart gets additional darkness which somehow gives Alma free will and she betrays everyone and runs away (she hated being a doll) to the big tower on the map where you should kill her.
I also remember a few girls returning back alive from the sanctuary, Hilda and Ewan.
Hmm-hmm... it's not that I'm implying there is a hidden content, I'm just confused why do I have this memory and a feeling that something is amiss, again...

Do you remember battling her in traditional Rpg encounter?
Because in addition of available CG, there's no Alma battle sprite in enemy folder
(Except for the legion of head you fought inside mirror world)

Noted that she does hated her personality from previous incarnation and there are exactly two girl who escape the dungeon to lived inside doll manor

• The white haired bob girl, if you free the bandit girl and fought her brother atop 4th dungeon/tower
• And winged goddess at the core of dungeon, if you chose to help her

But knowing the creator work, there's little to no chance there's extra content that didn't involved in an ending or H-scene
