I know Beth got a lot of hate lately, I'm not sure all that's warranted, but I've been a little indifferent about her since the beginning of the game for personal taste, that shoplift didn't change my opinion for the better or worse.
Here's my reason as to why I feel indifferent about her: My favorite genre it's incest and what I find hot in these games is the forbidden aspect of having someone that's blood related that you love. That taboo sentiment is multiplied by 10 when you grew up with them. That's why my main girls will always be the mother and the twins because of the closeness with them growing up. Followed by Beth, even though growing up away, she still is your sister, and then there's everyone else which will always be low priority for me, even the girlfriend.
That's my simple explanation
EDIT: Here's my complete breakdown list of priorities in games
1) Mothers - They will always be my number one goal in games
2) Sisters - They are second
3) Aunts and Grandmothers - They will always be below mothers and sisters for me, but always above cousins
4) Cousins and (for this game specifically) Beth
5) ------
6) ------
7) Milfs - Neighbors, bosses, friend's mothers and so on (On this specific game the Gymnastic and the girlfriend mother)
8) ------
9) ------
10) Everyone else, even the girlfriend
You are probably asking as to why the girlfriend's mother is rated above the girlfriend, well, milfs > younger girls in my book. As you can see from the breakdown, that's why I don't even play non incest games (at least 95+% of the time), because the best I could find in those games are milfs which are listed at 7.

They're similar and can be used as synonyms to a degree. But to me perversion has a sexual undertone too it more than corruption. Corruption is a broader term that can cover additional things such as criminal activities, drug use, willingness to use other for selfish gain. Corruption just implies the connotation of evil seeping it's way into a person, while perversion is finding out anal isn't so bad after all. Or I kind of like being choked during sex.

Except the corruption points in this case are pretty much solely gained through 'perverse/erotic' acts...and don't make much sense for evil, drugs or crime in this case.
While the game is quite enjoyable, a walkthrough (even PDF) is welcome. It would make the game more enjoyable. Hopefully a moder can make one (JokerLeader) Thank you

They can mean very similar things. So yes, corruption in this game might not be the best term and perversion might be, I don't think they're so dissimilar that corruption cannot be used. Especially since there is also the lying undercurrent of criminal activity in the game, even if our characters have not yet fully come to terms with and understood the criminal world they're about to find themselves in.

well you can have multiple ways on understanding what the question asked.
perspective 1 (the one the person woh asked really meant) which can be summerized as what are the differences in the path aka what content is on what path etc. this is the way most understand the question as they set context and past information in relation to the question.
perspective 2 which was the answer posted, if you exclude the context aka the game discussion and past answers the most likely meaning would be the definitions of the words and theri meaning in a general sense.
or in short the guy that answered took the question literally without applying the context of the discussion

I couldn't say for sure which LI I like the most right now, the truth is that I don't know if Beth's friend's mother is a LI, but if she is, it's probably her.

I don't get the Beth hate either. She can't do anything when the dev decides to use her as a badly thought-out and implemented story device to push the x-th mafia plot that interrupts a great slice of life story.

Well, i don't hate Beth, i wanted a choice for actually punishing her for the theft...that short lashing out only to apologize later didn't do it.
But i kind of can understand others disliking her for the dumb plot she's forced in...was the same for me in other game with a LI and a really dumb stundent loan plot, as well as being forced in her relationship problems with another LI...after a while i just wanted to have nothing to do with said girl, after a while more started actively disliking her...but hey compared to that, this isn't so bad and much shorter.

I'm still behind on this game by 2 updates not sure if I dislike Beth or not for what happens yet. But I do find Bo annoying and find it hard to get into her character even on the 1 save I am collecting all the Pokémon even the ones I don't like or care for

Yeah, the plot is stupid, but that's not a Beth thing because she would never do something like that if the plot didn't demand it, it's 100% out of character.
We don't really know her, tho. Only know her for few days. I don't like her shoplifting, but not a deal break. Little character flaw, could say makes her more believable than perfect girl, though I like perfect.
But, agree it did seem out of character, only done for mafia plot. Agree that game was interesting already, didn't need shoplifting and mafia plot. But, writing so good, I will try trust dev.

Let's hope it stays as a one of and the dev doesn't force other such dumb things on the li's to advance the crime plot...
