Haven't started the game yet, but after reading the thread, it looks like the sandbox tag doesn't really apply here. It should instead be the "point and click" tag, which is used to refer to games with some free-roam sections and/or clickable collectables and/or plot devices.

Based solely on the comments, it seems there are 2 short free-roam sections with hidden collectables to unlock bonus renders and maybe affect the plot. It sounds like most of the game is standard choice-based VN format, and most comments make the free-roams sound very simple and quick.

There is no actual sandbox here.

There is a little bit of point and click stuff but it's not too obtrusive.

There really isn't any sandbox.
As Ava said, there's a click mini game, pleasure LI's, but even that you can deactivate in the settings.

That unreal scene with Beth stealing,forcing MC to end up like pussy,it just killed this game for me. The game will turn in that direction for a while,just because dev couldn't find anything more realistic to keep the story going. Where in the world you'll find two thugs in their own clothes to work like security in some could say very nice boutique?

I'm pleasantly surprised by this game. I thought I was going to hate Sophie(I think it is the Hairstyle) but she is by far my favorite character. Some of the scenes with Sophie do a good job of showing she is a lot smarter you think she is.

I hope the MC gets a chance to confront the Phantom Shitter I bet it's Kate's Dadhe seems like the type.

The scene with Beth Being caught shopliftingannoyed me a bit. One thing I would say about that to make it a tiny bit more believable is to have the two thugs dressed as security guards or wearing suits it would make a bit more sense than what they are actually wearing while "working" in an expensive clothes shop. I'm guessing they also work for Kate's Dad.

Please tell me Bo is going to be able to show off more of her flexibility once she has more sexual experience with the MC.

That's not what makes the scene bad. It's lack of sense that a random store has two mafia goons that will stab and shoot you. I would be happy if the MC said something like "I'll pay you the $500 and you keep the clothes or you can start calling the police". A little shakedown is drama enough for me to get things going. What's the other possible outcome? Shoot two people in a city center, broad daylight, with another waiting in the car? It's too much too fast there.

it was a shakedown from the beginning, they were never gonna call the cops or let the MC do it. And no need to shoot anyone they can just stab him a little bit if they wanted
