How long has it been? Not a criticism, just want to guesstimate progress, since I guess there really isn't an incentive to draw things out too much without being able to get paid until the game is done.

I'd say a bit over 5 years from the early design phase. And I can confirm there is currently no, official or otherwise, way to support the dev, even if you wanted to just donate with no strings attached.
As for the why so long? Dev is just a super passionate guy who enjoys putting a lot of attention into minor details to make the best thing he can... and he didn't have any prior experience so he learnt a lot as he went, resulting in quite a few cycles of refining the old stuff.
Once it hits actual playable closed testing phase there will be more prominent advertisement of this project, but until then we can just keep waiting like we are waiting for a sequel to Hizashi no Naka no Riaru

I would agree something like 5 years but progress is impossible to estimate as they are learning while doing and have started huge segments over rather than build on top of muddy work.

Well, good on him, I have a lot of respect for that. Unfortunately, this is one of my top hopefuls because there just aren't a lot of games like this which blows my mind. I thought Black Guards of Odom or whatever and The Imperial Gatekeeper ended up being pretty popular and both got translated on Steam so it's crazy we only have like two really shitty clones that don't even bother coming anywhere near close.
You'd think we'd be drowning in options lol, and I wish it were so. I crave more.
When I start the game and check the Memoir, some but not all scenes are unlocked. How do I reset it to empty? I want to unlock things myself.

guys i just gotta say, trying to navigate here seems like some kind of detective work trying to piece together papers and evidences over a case full of graves like you re-opened a case from century ago where all the people involved is dead, now i say that because can anyone please! tell me what link to download?? my brain can't handle it!! im gonna also be dead next to these graves!!! ehem if you kindly so...
i can conjure up conclusion, but i'd like some clarification so this pcp (procrastinatus) mod modded to be a stand-alone game right? what's the latest version for it? i heard 1.35 is the official version from the creator itself and has not been updated for the past years or so, and 1.39 is fanmade yes? am i correct thus far? and there are 3 other mods beauty mod, npc + and kristo's mod, what do these 3 mods do? im guessing beauty mod ramp up the art-style quality, npc + adds more npcs, and kristo's mod is an actual mod like it adds extra contents? or just npcs? and downside is it's only exclusive for spanish language, there's an eng version but it discontinued, oh yeah talk about version what's the latest version for each mod? is there more numbers to memorize? because i dont see any talk about it, im just gonna jump the gun that beauty mod only has 1 version, npc + also has only 1 version, and kristo's mod has multiple version. does that covered it all? hm if that's true and none are wrong, can i ask a download for ( procrastinatus ) + ( beauty mod ) + ( npc+ mod ) no kristo's mod it seems like a huge hasstle if the old eng version compatible then i'd love to, please?

For Imperial Gatekeeper, just go to the Procrastinatus thread and download the only downloadable there is. I played that and it was a few great faps.
In general, remember that mods here are made by a bunch of people who've never been in the same room and joined and left the effort at varying times, sometimes not even overlapping. And nobody's really in charge of crowning a mod or the original release The Right Version to Play. F95 leaves it to you to figure that out.
So, if you find yourself confused, go back to the OP and take some notes: is this mod stand-alone or a patch you have to apply? Does this mod include that other mod? So on and so forth. Write it down, and think about it a little. Remember to verify that you can run the vanilla version before you start modding, then decide on a version of the game to try, and try it. If that doesn't work, come ask us. It might help to search the thread for "best mod" or something like that, but search results are delivered out of order for some reason, so...
I've been bookmarking every link I passed on, and read I suppose 200+ post, got really tired, thought I could post something to perhaps helps me understand most of the things, but yeah you're right I'll just play where the thread download is like everyone else for theses past years, and put on hold the search, I'm honestly just trying to make it the bestest experience for me playing the stand-alone game, it doesn't feel right for me to play um outdated? Really sorry if it sounds harsh!! It needs to be the best of the best, it's in my nature can't really chance the system you know? Xd, but yeah anyway, oh is what I previously said correct? About this game and mods all that, for the download just ignore it that's my desperation I'm embarrassed, I'll find it on my own, so thank you!

No... but i noticed lnomsim gamepack is the same as nubaleen, like consist the same mod, same content, and even same errors!! i think what lnomsim meant when he said he got it from a person it's proabably nubaleen (also yes had a breakthrough the best one in my opinion is from nubaleen, it had it's errors and missing content but i fixed and filled it in to the best ability i had, took some time but it's satisfactory. there's 2 more version of gamepacks one from UnHolyOne/Kezza329 and Smol Monkey, but the gamepack is filled to the brim with errors that i can't simply just ignore, so nubaleen is the better version for me, i could share you my research if you'd like)

it's not alot but i hope people enjoys it, im sure everyone could do it... i mean i just searched up for some images and stumbled upon some little update like really tiny update for nubaleen's version so i add it to mine's! that's all!! (no im no coder so if you found any bugs that i didn't notice, sorry you just gotta pray someone else can take upon it, truly i apologize there's nothing i can do...)
