There seems to be a bug in progressing job in grocery store. If you ask Antony for work before getting the Viagra quest, then you won't be able to work even if you reach Level 1 in intelligence by studying math at home, and when you interact with the circle on your desk, you can still study math but you can't increase your intelligence any further. On the other hand, if you get the Viagra quest first, then you can work in the store, but when you interact with the circle on your desk, you won't be able to study anymore and instead you will just get the message "I think I studied a lot of math, better try another subject".
