There is still a problem of how people get a notion that they'll never be with someone so the only rhing they can do is goon. I think that joi as a format actually helps in strenghtening this belief, since it's a simulation of a girl (Or rather a partner) talking to you and giving commands. The longer you consume such content - the worse is your own self-perception, the lower are your expectations of yourself and the lower the chance that you will be able to make a move or at least just do sth significant in your life. I've seen a lot of people with self-esteem problems, and their numbers grow with an alarming rate.
It's not like joi are responsible for any of that, no. But it's like trying to lose weight eating a healthy big mac - not recommended if you have such problems. But it doesn't hurt you if you're already quite sure about yourself and things are going well in your life.

Not every vid has that disclaimer.
JOI database exists mostly due to pornhub removing 70% of the content, not to fight piracy...which is pointless, as this thread shows.
Making vids that aren't dogshit does take time, but you're right that dogshit vids still get views I guess.

The main problem, from my point of view, is the fear of the unknown. Both in terms of emotions that you would have to deal with and paranoid representations of reality.
