My share part of your story what i want to say is the "last part" that is the most important of all...

Your parents give you life and thats all. Yeah we have "bonds" because we spent like 1/4 of our life with them and in a good or bad way they are our parents... Someday maybe they will be gone and maybe you will feel shit if you couldn't spend time with them (i say that because you mention that you saw them once a year) but your sexual orientation is not an impediment to gave birth, like there are "ways" to at least give them the "rejoice" of being granparents but this is a decision of you or your companion to conceive or not... Just be happy, don't search the aprobation of them... from some time before and onwards you are by yourself on your decisions and achivements with the person you choose to be with and now she's the most important part in your life not your parents.

So nothing maybe you will see this message maybe not. A lot of dudes in here need to make a "new thread" or just try to get someone to keep being updated the thread but sooner or later all we "abandon" some projects we start.
