You should place it in the folder: TheKillingAntidotePlaytest\TheKillingAntidote\Mods.
Some mods need to be placed in the TheKillingAntidotePlaytest\TheKillingAntidote\Content\Paks\~mods folder to work properly. Here some mods u should go TheKillingAntidotePlaytest\TheKillingAntidote\Content\Paks\~mods

Win10 eats your SSD for breakfast swapping like crazy, so better have some free space, the more the better. Unless RAM/VRAM usage (though I only have 8GB on my Win10 rig - still no stutter - and yes, Goldberg takes more memory for obvious reasons), maybe the overlay is messing up, so consider disabling it as well.

I have a feeling it has to do with the overlay since they mentioned headshots which I think give achievement popups
