I looked into this and there's indeed a bug preventing progress from a certain point on, caused accidentally when updating the massage scene.
If you are playing the PC version, please use the following patch to fix it. It'll be added to the following update.
If you are *not* playing the PC version, you may need to wait a while. Alternatively, select "Start" from the main menu, and go to "start from chapter 3 (before route selection)". It'll skip the beach event you're supposed to watch, but put you at the end event of the route.
...HOWEVER, it should be noted that 41 levels is not necessary to progress. 40 is enough. Please check the bottom left corner of the screen as Satoshi, there should be a big button that reads CALL ARATO.
I'll be adding a way to make this more visible in the future, as a lot of people seem to have trouble finding it.
If you want to start from last patch, simply choose "Start" on the main menu and select to catch-up to current update.
EDIT: Simply copy and paste the "game" folder into the King of Summer's folder and replace files as needed.

Have you been through the new update? No, Kendo is not a good person. There just isn't any debate left. He's a great NTR villain, but he is the literal definition of selfishness.

I feel The Happy ending will at least Have Kendo's downfall (my money's on his balls getting injured or poisoned by Satoshi and Arato) and the women will come to realize he's been manipulating them when he cant pleasure them. After that Satoshi and Mary will be at least able to communicate with each other better without kendo screwing shit up and either try to mend the damage or move on with some closure.

i agree kendo is not a good person and he may be selfish but so is satoshi, satoshi is selfish from the start and even now the guy is not trying to improve but put all the blame on mary and kendo whereas we see kendo's character growth from the start. Here is the thing kendo was not trying to cuckold satoshi until kendo said he will be the king, he always give oppurtunities to satoshi and to mary when she says she love satoshi. unlike arato who is now planning to break mary love for satoshi(arato route), kendo gave mary time to decide on who she loves, thats it.
