Ahhh ok....sorry I didn't know Hook64 was basically just a working ReShade overlay. It was being "advertised" as something much more. I guess not.

LOL....there is still a few people that don't use Hook, so it's fine. Hook5 is not an overlay like ReShade. Hook5 is a Graphics injector. This is why you can use Hook5 with ReShade at the same time (which is what I do). I think it may be a little disingenuous if Hook64 (which seems to effectively be just ReShade working on V11) is advertised as some Hook5 equivalent. Just my 0.02.
Game does not work in Win11. Their solution is to use Windows 8.downloaded V11 Standalone. Installed, game isnt launchingIm on Windows 11 25H2

So it seems certain people (Mugsy) are spreading in accurate around my work. So let me clear the record.
This discord post right here...is basically totally false
For anyone who is familiar with my movies. I use Hook5 and a ReShade and I also recently (past 2 videos) started to do color correction using Davinci Resolve. Most people who follow my work know this, as I have mentioned it numerous times in Klub Exile. I don't use GIMP or any other software to "edit" or modify my images. I actually do not post many images so not sure where that came from but to each their own. That said...software...unless it is AI, is not going to make a picture go from bad to superb.
This comment is also in accurate, as the image he is referring to doesn't even belong to me. It belongs to another user by the name of Amaronap. And yes anytime you have more than 4 models in a scene it was edited. Pretty sure that is obvious for anyone who plays this game. Again..Amaronap explained in detail how he did this in a blog post in Klub Exile. Nobody is hiding anything.

This...is a beginner level example of Hook5. Basically you enabled it and pretty much didn't do much outside of some Sunlight and maybe a basic skin.
Let me explain. You can tell the room lighting is either using the default settings, with the sun aimed wrong causing weird shadows. The room is also not using any H5 maps to provide proper PBR textures to the room. Which helps reflect lighting better.
The skin of the models are dull and grey probably due to not using a skin with a proper Sub Surface Setting. The eyes are also not using any Hook5 maps as they seem flat and lifeless compared to a proper H5 equipped eyes.
Lets break down some examples of how myself and others use H5...
The imagery I produce is unedited outside of in game Reshade effects...most of my images I post are to show case Addons or in game screens from my movies. The following below is nothing more than a water/wet texture added as a skin layer and use of H5 water to fill the tube and add a running water. Also includes use of H5 Mirrors, and Objects for clutter.
Another example is from user Hexd33...I would call an expert user of H5 who also made the Hook5 lighting Guide in Klub Exile. Something people should read if they want better images. Yes, he used Photoshop to do touch up. But as you can see...compared to the "Basic Lena" image above. He is using H5 Hairworks Hair, Skin is using proper layers and SSS textures, Lighting and wetness of the model provides realistic reflections compared to above.
Lets continue.....here we have gobman some may know him as the author of https://f95zone.to/threads/exposed-ep-5-0f-patreon-goldengob.144119/ Gobman is another one of those I would call an "Expert" user of H5. Who again has used the teachings of Hex's lighting guide to step up his imagery. Here you say a H5 object room...using H5 particles to produce the rain effect in the background. His model Liz again with proper skin textures and sub surface textures providing a more indepth look. And the eyes...yes lifelike through use of proper H5 textures.
Even for users who do not use all features of Hook5 there is still a base level understanding of how to use the basics. Look at a user like TrappComics. Shadows from the lighting are not all over the place. He is using H5 enabled eyes and skin is not grey, dull or washed out.
I can go on and on about this. But here is the thing. If you are trying to get the fidelity of the images on the front screen. There are a ton more direct from the author on Klub Exile. You can always ask what they did and everyone is always willing to share. It is not necessary to throw shade in echo chambers. Making nice images with H5 is all about lighting and using proper textures. Once you understand that the sky is the limit.

What version of win11 are you running by curiosity? and what directory is V11 installed? V11 won't work for me anymore on win11. I really don't want to have to switch to linux just for V11...

I highly doubt it has anything to do with Windows. I have since removed v11 from my computer. When I had it installed it was running side by side to my VX install. Everything installed on a separate hardrive away from the system drive.
Interesting... Thanks for the reply. It seems to be a recent issue with windows 11 version 25H2. If you feel like it, can you install v11 again just to see if it starts? If not that's ok!

Sorry man...don't know what to tell you but, it's not Windows 11. I have been running that version for a full year, way before I uninstalled V11. To be fair those same people who say V11 does not work with Windows 11 tend to say VX does not work with Windows 11 either....so either I have some special shit going on with my setup....or those people have no clue what they are talking about.
Thank you for the reply! VX is working on my machine but V11 isn't. Its good to know that its something more complicated than "V11 doesnt work on win11" It makes me feel better about all the conflicting info across forums, discords, etc. I do have a linux machine I can use for V11 via wine if I still want to use it but I guess I'll stick to VX for now. Thanks again for the info.
Are there any preset modded downloads for this game? For example, a download that has the base game, with hook installed and several mods?
