I'm not the biggest fan of crapshoot challenge. I'll have to go back and try to progress to get key cards and whatnot, but for now, I've contented myself by making saves outside all the doors so I can hop into whatever scene I want. Since this looks like it's been worked on for a while, I'm guessing the general design of how you're supposed to progress isn't gonna be changed. At least there's sandbox mode, though I don't want to just throw away the intended experience like that.

I wasn't trying to single only you out. I apologize if it felt that way. I've been lurking this site since like 2016 or 2017? I don't know when this forum came out but it filled the gap that others left when their sites got shutdown a bit before that. Its just something I've noticed in my time here and this thread was especially bad.

Vore & cuck themes always illicit this kind of response moreso than anything else.

Let me put things in perspective.
In my AIF (adult interactive fiction) folder I have games separated by engine. In the Adrift sub-folder I decided to pick a random year and count how many games I had from that year.
For 2001 I have 88 adrift games, that's at least 88 released in that year in the English language for that text adventure engine.

Now consider that is only Adrift V3.9 and 4.0 and isn't including games released using TADS, Inform, Quest, AGT, Macromedia Flash etc in the same year.

For 2012 I have 29 Adrift games which is a significant drop but Adrift's popularity was already well in decline at that point and as a result of Twine many people were starting to move from classic text adventures towards a CYOA format in HTML. Even so that's at least 29 games in English just on Adrift, again that means it doesn't include the text adventure games released in TADS, Inform, Quest, Java, Adobe Flash, HTML etc.

Still think there's a disproportionately high number of text adventures being released lately? :p

So far from what I saw, it depends - there are fatal and non-fatal vore scenes however you can avoid them (so far no scene is mandatory but you might run into it by accident as I haven't found a way to tell the difference until it happens)

It's quite an unique game and actually well-written. Why it's abandoned? Even the Patreon page is a blank now. :unsure:

From what I recall, KD ran headfirst into some pretty nasty writer's block, and updates for both The Lab and Rasa pretty much ground to a halt.

I wish they would have kept the Patreon page active, as they were more than willing to suspend charges for unproductive months, but it is what it is I suppose. Hopefully their motivation/inspiration eventually returns.

Edit: Also, many thanks to Papa Ernie for updating the thread so quickly! o7

What's Rasa? Can't find anything :cry:

TBH there're really not many hardcore vore games out there. Azulookami use to create plenty, but not anymore (now they are TeamZorro?). Flexible Survival has some at one point, but no further additions... And that's all I can recall :unsure:
I guess it's kinda difficult to create, as MC will cease to exist after the encounters :LOL:

Oh man, I didn't realize Rasa wasn't on this site. Wow. o_O I'll have to see if I can dig that one up, too. With that one, all of the vore is done by the MC's companion (the titular Rasa) but it's still an interesting romp.

If you haven't seen it yet, Team Zorro is in the process of making Summoned By Accident, which has (had?) a fair amount of CV. It kind of got stuck on a cycle of engine swaps, but it seems like they're making some pretty solid progress once again.

Yeah Summoned By Accident "had", in fact the OG version was all about vore or be vored, you can even be vored during intro when you first met Duilio.
Then it became more and more tamed, until there are no more vore.
Pity I didn't kept a OG copy, as now any copy I find is a later version that even contain CV arena there's only very few standalone fights, has nothing to do with the main game.
It seems only Azulookami is into vore, as when he joined with Team Zorro, they don't create vore content anymore.

I have an old folder with some stuff I enjoyed of Azulookami from 2017 to 2020, including a couple of versions of Summoned by Accident. I can share it if you want but I don't know if it's too off topic here.

Edit: Actually, I think here is a better place, as lots of them are vore focused :unsure:

Yeah, I keep hoping that the Ren'Py version will eventually pivot back to that at some point. The new intro sequence really threw me off. I mean, it's still fun in terms of writing and personality, but it all kind of feels a bit aimless right now.

I dunno. I guess we'll see how it goes. *shrug*
