Might it be something to do with people waiting for more game content updates ? They might believe that it is too early to make any judgment, but I believe it to be the most likely case
Is this a game like corruption by Mr. C where you get to corrupt and enslave your family? or is the MC getting cucked constantly?
IMHO, most of porngames containing ntr are garbage, unworthy of anyone's attention.
This is a rare case when it’s done with soul, even though it looks simple.
The efforts of the author are noticeable, even in the first version that I played a few months ago I noticed only one minor bug (now fixed).
I usually check all the branches in games, including fetish ones (even if it's definitely not my cup of tea), and, speaking of this game, there is not too much "vanilla" content here yet (if we could consider "stepincest" as the very thing), but there is a lot of corruption and NTR content. For me, the small minus is that “vanilla” path still has unskippable or non-rejectable ntr.
I'm not a native speaker of English and even not so proficient in English at all, but in many of the games I played here the game conversation tree in English looked repulsively incomprehensive for me, well it was impossible to understand the meaning, despite it wasn't not some kind of an idiom or slang. It's even worse when the dialogue consisted half of inarticulate sounds like "GHHYYA", "HYAA", "WARGHH', "MGNOM" of whatever. I didn’t notice this bvllsheeet in this game, there were some obvious speech errors, but the meaning of the text was translucant and that’s nice. But speechlines of the stepmother are some kind of strange, she seems to be very, very stupid (the dumbest of all the game characters), however, her actions are naive, so I decided that this was done this way by the author’s intention, i.e. this is her personality, not a flaw. By the way, I noticed the author also “spare” her unlike stepsisters, i.e. there is actually less "hardcore" content with her at the current version of the game. Perhaps this is also the author’s idea: probably in the end the main male character will be happy with his "a little corrupted" stepmother, while he doesn't really care about the sisters.
New versions of the game are regularly released according to schedule (even free versions are usually released as planned). So it has not yet been observed that the author deceives subscribers on Patreon (or a similar platform), unlike many other developers.
Another small defect is a sorta primitive combat system, if I could say "Harem Wars" is kinda similar game to "The Last Hero's Darkest Quest", in HW the combat system looks the way better (however, even there there is muff, after a certain phase of game you've got a fairy with an imbalanced skill, making literally every battle a secure win )
I'd give the game solid 8/10. Can't post it in reviews, because my comment does not meet the requirements of Reviewing Rules.

Its really good ntr game, better than 90% of ntr games on this site
Ugh, encountered a glitch/bug for the convivence store [Konbini?]. If you don't enter it until after getting the house, both events run consecutively, this causes the Mc's position to be 1 square further than it's supposed to be for the 2nd event [knight harassing] thus preventing it from running correctly. [Due to MC being blocked from walking the correct number of steps/squares]
I suggest you either put a check so the events don't run back-to-back, or warp the MC's position at the start so it's positioned properly for the event. Not sure if RPGmaker MV has a better eventing process, where you can prog the auto-play event's script to run/self-correct if the player reaches the designated square instead of # of steps.
Anyways, neat game, but NTR isn't really my fetish so hoping for more scenes w/ MC

i try to go to ryonas room, if i go alone then it tells me i need to bring everyone to talk to her because it's important, and if i go with the party nothing happens she just says good luck.

yes, for me its enjoyable and have dencent content (about 1-2 hour gameplay) for a new game

Incredible experience, I did not have my expectations too high and after playing through all I'm pleasantly surprised with the amount of quality put in. The grim endings with the mercenaries was intriguing and I enjoy seeing those being explored. Same sentiment with James and the mercenary leader interactions with Misako. Hypnosis is another ability I believe would be interesting within netorare storylines
