the slim probability it's for "keep in reserve", to other two have already done their effect.
no one can bar the possibility of some of this switches can take in account. but will be minor at best.
the plan isn't outdated. our knowledge of the suitor score effect are barely advancend since the end of the succession crisis, and all we got it's the relevance of someone (donovan, bhakam, ignias and kalant) over the other (ghanth, jhenno, farnan)
because the monument reduce donovan and he is in the first group it's still rilevant, in unknown measure.
basicaly return to square one.
you can save the agnostic, and in this case the captain of the airship in yhilin palace tell you "patrici had big plans"
so it's possibile the airship will take a role in the endgame calculation, and having more airship ready can help.
it's suspicously similar to the economical help you can give to rodak, for now no check is made about that decision, but i hardly think the dev don't have plans for it.
you take an hit since chapter 5 start. return to stineford result will be alwasy negative arlcent acceptance, and in the negotiation hall for free eustrin iris will said "For whatever it is worth, I think we should not overvalue the Doom King's reputation." i cannot think a more clear hint to not hoard your arclent reputation.
never said to have all the answer, i have one answer, my playthrough, and it's basicaly stop at the start of chapter 5. luckly IW aside there is a clear superior choice for the event in the last chapter (return to stineford, free eustrin, second gathering)
and thosha is double lucky to have start the game after the synod. lol.
Fleet reserve already had an effect, what are you talking about? Your own damn walkthrough relies on that effect to get the best result, lmao. Keeping the fleet in reserve, meant reserving it for the final Aftermath airship battle,
which is already over, so it has already been used.
The fleet isn't going anywhere and isn't weakened or harmed by distributing supplies, so how exactly does that prevent them from getting used to the same degree in the potential endgame? Explain why exactly your airship navy should be less capable of participating in future conflicts because they distributed supplies, rather than fightning loB's stragglers.
Oh sure, we know nothing more about the succession, than we did at the start of chapter 4. Of course, other than Donovans score already being at a fat 0, and marked "impossible" even without the monument. Oh and that Donovan proves himself during Stineford to be a total pushover and not a real threat to Simon and co. Oh and that the Warden of the South event gave clear proof that suitor score is the same as the original candidate score, not a new statistic. Oh and that Orcents proof "ruins any chances at Tyna's hand Donovan has". Oh and that the IW crystal run made very clear attempts to setup Antarion as the main antagonist of the Ardan succession, while the others play side roles.
Nah sorry mate, discussion's been over for a while, but at least it will be fun to gloat when the update finally drops.
"
For whatever it is worth, I think we should not overvalue the Doom King's reputation." is not a reference to the potential future irrelevance of Arclent Acceptance, but rather obviously a nod that Simon shouldn't overestimate how popular the Doom King is on Arclent and how much the continent will let him get away with, without protest. Something that has already come full circle with the Crystal Run, and the potential fallout of that event. Iris warns Simon against using too much AA, so it doesn't go negative during the Crystal Run. But the fact that new events still give Arclent Acceptance means that we aren't done with that stat yet. It's not complex.
Finally, if you know that your walkthrough not necessarily is optimized, then stop pushing it at anyone asking, like it's the Bible for the TLS, flawless and objective. At least make the truth clear. That:
"Hey new player! Here is my walkthrough you can use! I do some weird shit with my money that most of the experienced players avoid in the start of Chapter 4, which costs a large amount of investment money in the long run, and I haven't really planned chapter 5 out all that much, but it's still decent!"
