RPGM - The Last Sovereign [v0.78.2] [Sierra Lee]

Great theme, great characters, great everything really. Biggest downside, that makes the game very unenjoyable is the combat. You go from 0-100 in a matter of like 30 minutes. One minute you're fighting wolves and everythings okay, the next you're in a scripted event where if you didn't save recently or buy op items by grinding you lose. Such a waste as I was digging the game. Oh well.

The story is punishing. I don't mind reading. No, really. But the way the protagonist is treated by everyone is just so sad. He is such a deluded loser who is consistently treated like crap.

The sex scenes are also meh.

Seriously, this 'game' gets zero stars. Its only redeeming quality is Qum D'ump, who is just awesome. She's what each of the other characters should aspire to, especially that moron of a MC.

She's the only reason I'm giving two stars.

This is getting great reviews for its writing and characters but honestly I don't see myself playing this much more than I already have.

Everything you do has consequences, which is what you want from a video game. Except the game tries to fuck you over for making the wrong choice constantly. Shopkeepers will try to price gouge you, for instance, and you cant grind money or experience since the number of enemies in the game is finite. The battles are designed to be challenging but fair but then you have to go to the Infested House in Stineford and suddenly you have to fight through endless waves of stupid hard enemies that wipe your party like its nothing.

The gameplay quality is really inconsistent, which is a shame since the story is really engaging and the characters are quite charming. It needs a lot of balancing for it to be fun. Why should I have to use a walkthrough just to find out how to progress through the game with minimal hassle?

As for the H-scenes... they're OK. The drawings are pretty amateurish but they are accompanied by a fair bit of text that helps fill out the flavor and make it hot.

All-in-all I would not recommend sinking time in to this unless you're a glutton for punishment and can overlook the obtuse design.

Great story and caracters, with a good rol-rpg gameplay and an original setting. Text based sex scenes are not my cup of tea, but i liked so much the caracters that i kept going. The game has also a surprising amount of depth, having a lot of choices to make that have an inpact on the world that you play.

Yes. Just play the damned game. Enjoy the prologue, the entire game is full monty subversion on the genre. Cum for the porn, stay for the story... etc etc.

Once you learn to like this, try Ouroboros. Another one of Sierra's gems. And dont forget to support on Subscribe Star. Avoid enriching the bastards at Patreon, people.

Length of the game and depth of it blew my mind. Best game i have played. Thanks for the ride. Even with following guides (because i didnt want to miss anything) i searched for every corner of the each map i entered and read all character dialogues so it took 30+hours and i am already at halfpoint of the game. I had to stop playing games and took a break from the game came too see that this 2016 game is still getting updated. I cant say how happy im for playing this game again!

This game has set the bar on quality so high, that 99% of all other games on this site don't even come close. Any h-dev should take a good look at it and step up their game. Making actual fun/balanced gameplay in the limited RPGmaker engine is not easy, but i played through the available content multiple times and still enjoy it. The Worldbuilding/Story is on a higher level then many mainstream games and you can tell how much effort was put into the characters.
If you want an actual game with actual gameplay and an actual interesting story you will spend tens of hours here.

That's hard game to review. Writing is top tier, plot is well thought and complex yet general outline is easy to understand, game changes smoothly between story oriented passages and general town exploration. Battle is challenging yet well balanced. On the other hand this game is not playable without walkthrough. Some choices you make have effects few chapters later, you need to talk to everyone always and there is no way back from bad decisions. If you screw up something you will get less income in next chapter which locks you out of even more event and there is no other way than replay whole game from start unless you enjoy failures and missed content. Some unlocks like "on day 1 talk to X then on day 3 revisit place Y to get info that unlocks new dialogue option later" are literally not possible to obtain without guide.

When i started playing this game first I was charmed - I played all content available and then was playing through monthly updates. Until a point when there was some event when I revisited old town and realised I played this 6 months ago and I don't remember anything - how I'm supposed to progress through this now when I don't remember what I did before. That way I completely lost interest and as of now I can't imagine how anyone can play through such long game and not be frustrated when it turns out your multi-hour investment was for nothing because you missed one small details few chapters earlier and now you can't progress as you like.

White Knight simulator the game or should i say perfect imaginary husbando simulator this game is clearly not an rpg even though it is marketed as one you have no control over your supposed main character personality he is nothing more than what the author of this game probably believes a perfect goody goody Husband material but in reality the mc of this game feels so out of place for a game like this he talks like douchebag trying to act smart when he's an idiot not to mention the fact that he's not relatable at all 55 year old man for a protagonist really? and all h scenes are from the perspective of his companion hell we don't even get to hear his inner thoughts i have played through till chapter one after that i couldn't just tolerate the mc and lack of any meaningful choices not to mention the fact that you cannot play this game without a walkthrough it's not even a good erotic game to be honest h scenes are boring as hell not fun at all.

Spoiler? - a main protagonist who does not use his dark power to enslave harem members, but help their desire?

Spoiler? - a main protagonist who has very clear plans for his goal and has a determination to carry it out immediately after long thinking?

Qum - a nice succubus who gives nicknames to others like Pretty Armor Lady, Orc Floof, and Simonette?

Aka - a stabby girl who was a former bounty hunter turned companion and lover to Simon.

Trin - a gleefully manipulative psychopath.

I mean they are fricking a whole wiki and troops(tvTroop) pages about characters. This game has many interesting characters.

Highly underrated, I played this during one of the first updates and it was just text based and am looking forward to playing again with images. Author is great and would always respond to questions on the forum. If you're undecided, give it a try

Don't let the picture fool you. I saw the succubus and came here to fap but I found the best game I've ever played. 100+hrs into the game and I haven't even finished yet. There are just so many things to explore. I really like this developer style of story telling and linear story development.

10/10, if you are looking for a quick game then i would suggest you look else where but if you are looking for one of the best rpgm games where your actions have actual consequences and actually make you care for the characters then i suggest you strap yourself in for one of the best porn games. Its an actual good game with porn.

For such a fantasy and trope ridden premise, the characters feel the most "real" that I've seen in a long time. I care what happens to the little pixel people on screen. Even if this weren't an adult game, I would still play it.

One of my favorites

I love rpg games in general, but was just looking for a quick fap when I stumbled across this.
This isn't a sex game at all really, more an adult game, as the sex scenes are almost all text based with the odd picture thrown in for illustration.
This is one of the most complex games I have ever played, and that is definitely a good thing as far as I am concerned.
In short, if you like rpg games play this, there is an incredible amount of depth and it has great replayability as the paths you can take to get through the game are almost endless - one of my favourite games of all time...

While I'd love to give this game a 5 star rating, it simply has too many issues.

The story is great and gameplay can be pretty fun but the way the game is designed makes the walkthrough mandatory unless you enjoy missing out on a quarter of the game's content there are many instances where you can soft lock yourself out of the game and have to roll back way too much where it's not worth going through again.

It is brutal for anyone going in blind and relying on gamer/story instincts not to mention it is designed for multiple replay value yet I don't think anyone will go all the way in twice due to the length and frustrating cutscenes present.

Normally I don't write reviews but I feel a responsibility to rectify the previous review that was created completely out of spite and wasn't objective in the slightest so I'm making this review

THE STORY 5/5
the story was refreshing in how it takes tropes from most fantasy games and turns them on their heads and gives you something new with the old in a tasteful fashion. The Plot takes its time and is very interesting as you figure stuff out and piece stuff together and the world building cant be ignored it was not the focus but it was was coherent and makes you feel like its a actual world. The characters are the bread and butter of the game all of them have their own goals and act as actual people and the variety of characters is impressive. A few nitpicks is the game relies heavily on dialogue but some people may like that and it suffers a bit by telling instead of showing but still an amazing story nonetheless

GAMEPLAY 4/5
The gameplay can be hard in some sections but its fair and it forces you to utilize all your characters and create different strategies its very dynamic and you can play in many different ways. There is no grinding in this game so you wont have to spend hour's killing the same enemies. you have limited resources which means you have to spend your stuff wisely. The only thing that's stops me from giving a perfect rating is the system itself its the standard RPGM gameplay with the same animations and sound so its a bit generic in that regard and is boring for those that played a bunch of other RPGM games. It doesn't bother me that much but I must be Objective in my review

I have played over 100+ hours and I must say this game gives you so much content it comes with a bunch of different places to go to, over 20+ characters, interesting and difficult choices that can affect your story and create hundreds of different playthroughs There is back tracking but it makes sense and give you new stuff to do in these areas and explore. Also there are plenty of porn scenes in this game while pictures are being added most of the porn is text based which maybe negative for people but the scenes themselves are well written and pictures are being added so I don't view this as a negative. its truly a feat how much content this game gives I highly recommend you play this game.

This game is like an old school rpg with linear progression through levels which don't allow you to backtrack and enemies don't respawn. There's a metric ton of stuff that is easily missable and the difficulty is downright unfair, a slime can kill any of your party in 3 hits. You're supposed to become the strongest being in the game's world but you always feel underpowered against everything.

This damned game gave me a blue screen of death, the difficulty is also nonsensical, hentai games are supposed to make you relax not get angry at dumb RNG and bad game mechanics, not only can't you grind enemies you have to follow a walkthrough to recruit party members asap so they don't lose tone of experience from the limited enemies you can find.

As to the H content, it's the lamest you can get, every sex scene consists of a single image together with like 4-6 walls of text.

My favorite H-game ever. Been a supporter for years, jumping in to review now. If you start this game, don't be expecting a typical Japanese RPGM H-game. Expect something more like Final Fantasy 2, Final Fantasy 7, Chrono Trigger, etc. Yes, the game is that good, and that professional.

The story is epic and engaging. The gameplay actually matters - as this an actual game - battles can be hard, bosses are harder, it is possible to die. There's plenty of sexy in it though, as this is actually a harem game, but you truly have to earn the girls' affections through good gameplay and treating them right

It's also hilarious. One of the two funniest games I've ever played in my life. There's also moments of sadness and loss, triumph and even horror. I stood up and cheered when I killed the entity who called himself the "Fucklord" (he's as awful as his name advertises).

Most of the sex scenes are written with no pics as of now but the creator has hired an artist who does good work, so I think there are somewhere between 30-40 illustrated scenes now (could be more) and more are coming.

This game is a masterpiece. When I compare other H-games to this one, I often get a response like "well, TLS is not really a sex game, it's more just a game". It is a H-game, though, and I think the defenders of other games dislike the comparison because this game's execution and writing are a clear cut above
