RPGM - Completed - The Last Sovereign [v1.0.0] [Sierra Lee]

I can understand why this game is interesting for some people, but it didn't appeal to me. First of all, it has poor visuals even by RPGM standards. There are no animated scenes and if the goal is to get aroused and see sex, this game doesn't deliver. The sex scenes are more comedic or just a very superficial picture with a long text describing the scene. This is a big problem for me because I play these games for the lewd scenes. If I want to play a JRPG without sex, there are already AAA standard games. I played for close to two hours and despite everything I found the story of the game very interesting and funny, so the writing is really good but as I said it sadly doesn't appeal to me in terms of visual presentation. Still, I don't regret trying the Last Sovereign.

When the prologue threw me for a loop (twice), I knew I stumbled into something I would thoroughly enjoy.
200h+ later, after reaching the epilogue and the end of the available content to date, I can say I wasn't wrong. The worldbuilding is impressively complex and enjoyable, the choices and their heavy impacts on wars and other events made me realize just how much work and passion has been put in this game.


And last but not least, the characters, especially an incredible MC supported by a fully fleshed out and equally amazing harem cast, developping wholesome relationships with a very positive sexual component. The latter was really welcome: it's not seen as often as one might think in adult games, and made for a really refreshing experience.


Now, I'm eagerly waiting for the postgame, but I really wanted to thank you, Sierra Lee, for making such an amazing game. I'll definitly keep an eye on any of your future work, and I wish you luck in your future endeavours!

Without a doubt the best adult game ever made. While constrained by rpgm the game's writing, story and depth of gameplay are AAA quality. Only slight drawback is the graphics but if you're just looking for tits then there is an entire internet out there.

This is such an amazing game and a true Diamond in the rough. First and foremost, this is an amazing bit of writing and game making that happens to have sex as an integral part of it. This glorious combination is wanted by all by rarely, if ever, seen. TLS is straight up one of my top 5 RPGs ever, and yes I mean ALL RPGs, not just JRPGs. It's better than Skyrim, Pokemon, hell it even edges out Mass Effect in the writing department. I don't mean to endlessly glaze, but Sierra Lee deserves it. If you like JRPGs, this game is a must-play. Imo, it is the definitive RPGM game.

Extremely well-written and detailed, The Last Sovereign has many unique characters, unexpected plot twists and tough decisions in store. Browsing the game's wiki reveals the hidden depths of the game that you wouldn't expect at first glance.

90 hours of brilliant storytelling, difficult bosses, economic management, heartfelt conversations, and sometimes H-scenes (I'll be honest, I skipped most of the sex scenes)
I'm not even done with the game, currently in the absolutely brutal Lilith dungeon near the end. I probably still have another 5-10 hours before the game is done.
9/10 would study a walkthrough before engaging in politics again.

spend around 12 hours on the game, great game, a little lost on my playthrough but still a great game, a lot of contents, the girls are beautiful, lot of paths to choose, u can be an asshole or u can be a gentleman game gives you a lot of choices so ye you should play

This game is great because it developed differently from the others. It started as a RPG that focused mostly on text and management themes instead of art. By focusing on story it has kept its base as a good game while adding on more art and sexual elements over time. This means that no matter what you will enjoy the gaming and lewd aspects instead of running into the issue where the game is struggling to keep up with the art.

Fucking fantastic. Writing is better than 99% of everything else on here and is truly immersive. You get exposed to things at the right time and everything feels fluid. LI are incredibly diverse and yet they're all appealing and hot. Can't recommend it enough if you're looking for something to really dig your teeth into. My one tip would be to not rely on a walkthrough too much; difficult decisions are what makes this game fun!

Is this a game worth it for the porn? Nope, not at all.

Is this a game worth it for everything else? A billion times yes.

I think my main review from this game is that about 60 hours in I was balls deep in a political meeting about religious schisms and I was having a tremendous amount of fun.
The JRPG elements are decent, I can't say I'm too big a fan of the hardcore genre mechanics in any game (sue me), but it was nothing that hurt the experience. One can argue this game basically requires the walkthrough to not flounder at some parts, but so does elden ring in terms of finding hidden content so *shrugs*

By the way, this isn't to say that the erotic content is tacked on or anything. This game flushes out it's world incredibly, and the problem that would arise if incubuses and sex magic were real is laid out in detail.

This is just a great game full stop. It goes beyond 'Played it for the plot' and went into 'Oh yeah you can also have orgies anyway so about the kingdom economy...'

A game that has become bloated after going far beyond the initial vision for years on end.

Its extreme length is only exacerbated by idiotic story design where some tiny, arbitrary thing somewhere must be done or has consequences later down the line, which means that if you play it without a walkthrough, you're done. It seems like the game was designed around the player using one to begin with.

Art is mediocre, story is mediocre, the main character is insufferable.

This is a great game. It's not a very good hentai game, it didn't make me cum (at least not yet, i haven't finished it yet, only 1 of 5 existing chapters into the story, a couple hours of gameplay). It is however a fantastic JRPG. I'd put it roughly on the same level as mature quest in that regard (although mature quest got me to cum a lot). If you like real JRPGs like the old final fantasy games, you're gonna enjoy playing this.

It's got a good story, it's got solid JRPG gameplay just using the classic formula (an rpgmaker game truly done as the rpgmaker creators intended for it to be done) the only thing really I found lacking is the H content, for the setting there is surprisingly little of it, I mean I wasn't starved for it while playing, but there was quite a bit of time between new sex scenes, and those sex scenes were lackluster in and of themselves, you get one image of middling quality and a wall of text, it's basically smut writing with an image to go with it.

Play it for the JRPG experience, play it for the plot. Don't play it for the faps, it's the single area where the game is weakest (ironically).

I have been a years long lurker on this site just playing games and never wrting a reivew or even commenting, and i can say with 100% certainty, this is hands down the best game on the site. I didnt even really like the porn in the game and would sometimes fap before playing so i could focus on the story. This game has plot and wrting on par with games like mass effect and dragon age, i got similar vibes playing this game as to those games.

The little details with every character, the philosophical discussions, and the choices that often felt impossible, this game is truly not one of the best porn games ive played but just simply one of the best games ive ever played, download it right the fuck now and sub to sierra lee's patreon becuase this is peak unlike anything ive ever played. If you find yourself asking"are there any games like" this and you cant come up with an answer, you know just played a genre defning masterpiece. Any one or two star reviews either have gen z attention spans or did not play the game(i rushed through the game and it still took me about 80 hours to beat)

Lets just make something clear here. This is not good for a porn game, it's not good for an RPG-maker game. This is an excellent game, period. This has good game mechanics balance wise, you have a large group of characters to bring into combat (or other rigorous activities ) and yet they all function differently, you have to stay on focus for battles. It has a ridiculous amount of moving parts, a financial system, relationship system, systems for everything from diplomacy, warfare and more and they are all interconnected into a story of grand proportions. It is long as hell and has been consistently developed over a time period where most developers would have either stagnated, abandoned the project or just started to put out "filler updates", this is not the case here.

And yet the best part is none of the above, it's the writing. It's grand, it's melodramatic, it's philosophical, it's hilariously funny and obviously quite sexy. How do you take a character named Cumdump and give her pathos and sympathy? Should not be possible. It's my favourite game on this site and I have recently also bought it on Steam. I'm almost sad that I'm closing in on the endgame (I'm post-prison now for those who know)

Best role playing game I've ever seen. Legit has multiple days of pure story playthrough.

Interesting characters, highly developed investment mechanics, forcing player to make sacrifices, very pleasant writing and humour, just amazing all around.

I found myself even playing for the story and strategy rather than lewd scenes which were just nice complimentary addition that fit the story

Damn hard to play this game, need so much time for complete everything and figure out how to do it that probably you will never see the end, but damn if i love it! Hentai are sure not the best point in this game, but the story is damn good!

Still the best adult game ever because it's way more than just an adult game. Amazing story, great characters, tons and tons of content and a really hard game overall as it's almost impossible to go through all the events smoothly. Your actions and choices truly do matter and the consequences can be terrible.

I can't wait for it to be finally done so I can play from start to finish but it's been a pleasure to follow the development during all those years

This is, by all accounts, a very unique experience. I've first played this game when there was not a single CG in it and it kept me for a while, which is already a testament to how good the writing is. Now that it does have CGs I can tell that they're pretty good, too.

But the uniqueness of it all mostly comes from the fact that it's not lewd at all, in the gooning coomer sense of things like many games on this site are. Instead it is, for lack of better words, sensual. Be it the art, the situations, or the characters, everything is just pure. Despite the fact that it has succubi and many perverse themes it manages to be fucking pure lmao. I have a strong feeling that it was made by a woman, for women, as its heavy into the emotional side of things.

Best adult rpg i've seen. I played first for the porn with plot, then waited updates mainly for the story. Crazy verse created by sierra lee, the characters give a ide ranfge of emotion, lot of humour, lot of choices with consequences... i could continue for hours, a masterpiece to my mind.
