Interested in this game, but I cannot figure out what to do after cutting the bridge at the beginning of the game.

I collected a bunch of food, but after that, no idea. Couldn't find in the forums either.

You have to continue to the river and from there towards the waterfall. Then into the cave and through the labyrinth. We'll be revising the movement system to improve it, as it's received a lot of criticism.
