As others have commented, I'm stuck right before Fame 8. I escaped the Cartel Boss, did a bunch of night raids, and now need to beat the boss again but there's no quest indicator. I've done bunch of night raids hoping it'll appear but it really looks like I'm stuck. Did my save get soft locked somehow?

Have this game in my wishlist in steam and I like how it goes there - no news, no updates, just release year tick every year +1 :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Alright...

As I mentioned before, we were already very close to the ending last time, so unfortunately, I couldn’t advance the plot too much without wrapping up the game. Most of the work focused on everything leading up to this point. I’ve been putting off this moment for a long time, but I always knew and wrote about the fact that the game wouldn’t work with the current raid mechanics. At the moment, it was an endless, empty, and completely monotonous grind of battles. I reduced their number and added mechanics, but fundamentally, it didn’t change much.

This time, I had to spend A LOT of time—probably TOO much—but I had to do it. Otherwise, most people discovering the game for the first time would simply put it down due to the sheer number of repetitive battles. When I started making the game, everyone was playing RPG Maker games where battles were EVEN MORE monotonous, and that seemed normal; it didn’t bother anyone. In our case, though, it was glaringly obvious, and I had to fix it at all costs. I hope it’s now more engaging—or at the very least, less tedious (you can now literally click through an entire raid with the mouse).

What’s been added in this update:

  • Prison escape.
  • Hero base in the apartments.
  • Companions in battles.
  • 85 variable raid events (I’ll die it if this wouldn't work T_T).
  • Companion gameplay mode.
  • Game streams starting from level 1.
  • Fame farming on arenas (Beatemup).
  • Memories between levels (we experimented with the Beatemup mechanic—guess which game this references).
  • Massage animations switched to Spine animations.
I understand that for months, you’ve been seeing new spoilers and were probably expecting exactly what was shown in them. But that would’ve meant delaying the update even further… Still, I get it. The new locations I’ve shown won’t take too long or be too difficult to add. The art is already drawn, and the animations are ready. All that’s left is to implement them in the game. So, for the next 3–5 months, I’ll aim to release an update every month.

Rough order of updates:

  • Café.
  • Hobby club.
  • Nightclub.
  • Beach.
I apologize in advance. I’ve replayed everything and fixed everything I found, but there’s definitely a lot that could break this time. I’ll be available 24/7 and will try to fix any issues as soon as someone reports them.
