Yep, in fact tomorrow morning I will be moving all the NSFW servers I'm connected to right now to an alt account that will be fully separated, I'm not taking any chances

Concerning the ntts video, I was not even aware of who NTTS was until that incident(that said I don't live in the US, so it's not like I'm immersed in the US culture)

What shame this had to happen to DMF and Catspeaker because I followed the game because of how much I liked the writing and storytelling. People were warned and when they ignore the warnings they cry about it when they had full power to avoid it. The internet wouldn’t exist if every single thing every single person disliked got removed. I hope that this doesn’t affect too much and that things will get better soon.

Not to be rude, but it was a foregone conclusion was gonna be banned after the video. Broken rules or not, Discord was not gonna go against the mob forming against the new Public Enemy #1... should've just deleted the server to avoid all the repercussions. Or maybe that wouldn't work, dunno, you won't catch me dead making a Discord account.

Who even is this guy? Is he the new Content Cop, now with seven times more clickbait, or something? He doesn't even have a million subs. Guess nowadays you don't even have to try to get people to rally behind a righteous cause. Just enter a discord, take a couple of screenshots, hire the same Bangladeshi editors every youtuber uses who always edit in the same exact way, throw in a couple of jokes about how gross it is and how much you don't like it, and BOOM, there's rent.

NTTS is someone who goes over incidents regarding Discord, very well known for letting people know about data breaches, bad servers (as we've seen), discord mods, discord issues, ect ect. The thing with him and Discord is that they don't normally care, but when he drops a video, they usually debate on following up with whatever he posts. He's like the Charlie (MoistCritical) or GD Colon (Geometry Dash) of Discord. Once he drops a video on something, it's known to multiple people, and you're next to near cooked.

I.E. Dudes an asshole that decided that he wanted people to take down and targeted a game creator that DID NOTHING WRONG!!! I'm not speaking in hyperbolae. The game is legal in every way it can be and nothing on the discord was against the guide lines. Even the picture he censored of Twilight from MLP didn't show any naughty bits (it was just a flank shot) and he also had a strange fixation on the feet pics (which he also censored for some reason).

I will say it, DMF should had locked down that server months ago. NTTS is an asshole for that hit piece, but DMF should had realized that at that point he was close to getting unwanted attention if he left that server opened to the public. He was unfortunately too naive on that front

It's sucks to say it because DMF is a really nice guy AFAIK, but he should not had left open that server for so long to others like that

Tomorrow I will make a message about the future of this, now I REALLY need to sleep.
It has been some very chaotic and rough 36 hours.
I feel tired, its like finally losing a 2 year long battle.
I feel sad, All my effort to gatekeep the game from bad actors and minors, was in vain at the end.
I feel depressed, I see myself very close to just throw away everything and start from scratch.
I feel stupid, Because not too long ago I was already thinking on making the server private and only leave those who already were inside.
I feel really angry, When someone's rent is due, they can just destroy a random server over nothing in just 5 minutes. But in the same 5 minutes, a lot of my effort went to waste, its not fair.
and I feel guilty for people's discord accounts too, and for supporters.

Right now...I don't know what I'm going to do, I don't even want to make another Discord, not even a private one, just giving the exclusive downloads to supporters through a Pastebin or whatever.
Maybe that could even help me concentrate more on working on the game! who knows...

I'm a pseudo solo dev making his first game
- Drew every single image.
- Made a fuckton of sprites to make as many reaction as possible.
- Made a lot of minicomics to avoid black spaces and make a nsfw visual novel that is ACTUALLY visual.
- Learned RenPy from scratch, this is my first time coding anything.
- Just paid a voice actress to make voices for some characters (It was going to be ready on a future update)
- Found an actual and great writer who knows the source material and made an awesome work.
- Prepared the translation files for people in the server to be able to translate it so I could add it to the game.
- Tried my best to release both Public and Exclusive updates with the smallest time window possible from each other.
- Made the Android version actually usable and accessible... fuck, I even made the quick menu to be able to be set either on the right or left of the screen so people can just jack off, what the hell.

I don't consider this neither a hobby or a hustle, its MY JOB, and I LIKE IT.

BUT

I don't have the energy to deal with leeches like this NTTS guy or any other potential cheap virtue signaling idiot.

The server was SFW, chill, we had a lot of fun and made many friends, had to only ban like 2 or 3 people for being annoying and breaking rules during the whole lifespan of the server. But it seems that we cant have shit, I guess...

See you guys tomorrow, I hope to feel better, think more clearly, and...

An answer to this but also a message with info on the matter to anyone interested.

The Link was INSIDE the game, only available after clicking "Yes, I'm 18 years old or older" on itch.io, I gatekeep all I could and banned any minor who went past it and blocked minors who follow me on twitter each time I find out about one. The SFW server for a NSFW games makes sense, if the users can find and play the game, then they know how to use Google. Makes things easier to moderate.
The fact that NTTS found the server FIRST and the game LAST means that someone sent him the invite manually with little to no context. OH! I almost forgot, to be able to see the channels in the server (for example, the Art channel) you have to read the rules first and react to it... LITERALLY rule nº1 says that you CANT post +18 images on the server, but then he says "Hey, there is no nsfw warning here!" He's either an idiot, or a lying hypocrite.
You can see in the Video's comments that he censored the images because of YouTube, not because it was actual porn.

During the raid, I didn't knew what was going on, just that most of the profiles I was banning for spamming that just joined, had in their profiles "15 y/o" or similar, then I learned that an idiot showed the game and server to +900.000 subscribers on YouTube, filling my itch.io page and discord with ACTUAL MINORS.

Yeah, when I was a horny teenager I played nsfw flash games I found on internet, but I never got invited by an irresponsible adult on YouTube.

The game is 100% legal were I live.
The server is 100% ok with Discord TOS.

You know what's illegal? Defamation.
You know what breaks certain site TOS? Making alleged illegal content easily accessible for everyone on YouTube on purpose.

I WILL continue making this game no matter what, because I know that I'm not doing anything wrong, I don't need to clickbait and do content farming to an audience full of minors and make jokes about sensitive topics on YouTube to make a living. Just making an adult game for adults, end of the story.

I wont continue talking about NTTS, I said everything what I had to say.

The itch.io page is HIDDEN by me.
The Discord Server is closed with no invites for now, not banned, just mass reported (The classic "we found something but wont tell you what or when" that platforms love to use when they don't find shit.)
The Public update 0.2.7 was ready to be published 2 days ago, now it has to wait.
I'm working in alternatives to gatekeep even MORE not only bad actors, but minors, even if that means powering with a giant hamster wheel my own servers. Because apparently, a Pied Piper of Hamelin can lead them to my game on purpose.

Really this has been a good lesson on the wild west days of Discord being completely over. Having two accounts is probably the best way for everyone going forward, as who knows when they'll decide any kind of porn no longer fits their corporate image.

That being said I'm angry frustrated and tired as well.

I started off writing Fanfiction a few years ago. I never knew it would end up with me working on a game with an awesome artist and coder.

The compliments on the writing of Lewdest House always made me feel so honored.

I should have known though we were playing with fire because of this. I'm just glad I have a day job and this isn't my livielyhood. But it still fucking sucks.

In the same way how the server got massively reported and some random mod agree with a specific view, you guys need to appeal, easy as that. World is not fair if one person can make a decision for everyone (and is not always correct also the decesion of many), however stay strong and fight for what you believe to be correct. In this specific case I'm not sure if the decision was made to avoid fireback but even if is simple not correct to drag all together.

There's literally nothing that they could do more then ban a person, especially with different country laws and although any business usually is given his freedom with rules, these cannot be not fair, discminatory or used improperly making space for court action (see user vs facebook). As I don't know if this is the case and most importantly i was not in the group there's nothing i can do about it if not inform you about your rights (or at least the eu one).

No, not biology books. You can google pornographic books in school libraries to see for yourself. There are also several videos of parents complaining about the books on YT you can look up. In some parents start reading from the books in the meetings and are told it's inappropriate material for the board meeting, yet the boards considers it appropriate for children in schools.

Same thing would happen trying to read The Giver. The whole modus operandi of "concerned about content" bad actors is to get the reaction they want by acting outrageous, and then spinning a narrative out of false equivalencies and a change of context.
