For anyone reading:
Regarding the minigame:

I'm trying to follow Valve's "Playtest early" mindset, and it seems it's working!
This puzzle thing served as a way to test the waters before doing a mayor addition to the actual game: The Drawing Minigame to get money from Chapter 4 and onwards.
I know that ONLY SOME likes obligatory minigames, at the same time, NOBODY likes earning money in the game by repetitive grind.
BUT, everyone could get a rewarding feeling if they actually used some kind of skill to earn said in-game money, right?

My plan for Lincoln to get money on Chapter 4 and onwards is him making commissions (sometimes his sisters may take part of them) And the player will have the option to skip the minigame, and simply get paid. OR (AKA: optionally) solve the minigame (the easy, 4x3 version) to ALSO get a nice tip for their extra effort!

This gives a solution to the following:

- Avoid repetitive grinding by simply spam click.
- Avoid unskippable minigames.
- Give the player a sense of rewarding for solving a problem.

So... players want to play the minigame? FINE!
players don't want to play the minigame? FINE!
When I made this event, and planned how the Drawing/Money system will work in the future, I got both playstyles on mind.
Everyone wins, it's not that hard.

No content will be locked behind the minigame. And the Valentine's event is... come on, let's be honest... 10 cheat movements is already enough even for hard difficulty. I even added the optional hint thumbnail to make things as accessible as possible. And even added the skillissue cheat at last minute JUST in case, and ALSO took the time to share my tips for playing these minigames after playing them so fucking much this last week while testing everything.

So, for anyone (now, or in the future) complaining: You're welcome! I didn't added an unrequested 'feature' out of nowhere that drastically changes the gameplay while gatewaying progression/content and ignoring accessibility or playstyles!

Now, responding to many messages into one, a mashup of answers, like some kind of "Recent FAQ" both from here, twitter, etc:

Q - These scenes represent something that will happen in the future in the game?
A - I had in mind that these scenes would "happen somewhere in the future, even if not cannon".
Sam will be very important on Luna's chapter, and Lucy will get a nice maid dress, and Luan will probably give her brother a hand foot... But the scenes may not be exact the same.

Q - Did you know that you can quickly press "Start" right when it starts shuffling to instantly win?
A - Yup, played it enough to notice it, but I leave it on purpose, not everyone is good with puzzles, but some have really good eye and reflex, so let's embrance it. (Also, what's a videogame without a quick exploit here and there?)

Q - How does the cheats work in the puzzle?
A - Normally, you can only move pieces adjacent to the current empty space, but while the cheats are enabled, you can 'teleport' any piece in the board to the empty space, even if it's in the other side of the screen.

Q - The shuffle can generate impossible results!
A - Yup, the pieces aren't shuffled in a "one movement at the time", but 100% random. So sometimes this can happen. In cases like this, 1 single cheat movement does the trick, so I recommend to at least save 1 for the end just in case.

Q - I can't click on "Play" on the Valentine's Day event!
A - This is because the Christmas 2024 event is still running, complete it by finding all gifts (

) first in order to be able to start a new event (And the same goes for anyone who started the Valentine's Day one first, and can't start the Christmas one.)

I've learned I'm not as good at slide puzzles as I used to be. Ended up having to use the cheat option more than a couple times. Still got them all done.

The only puzzles that annoy me are insane 4D chess logic ones like Lisa's Cryptic Quest. Those require a cipher of all things.

But sliders? I grew to appreciate them after doing a few of them in certain games. I would probably prefer a jigsaw puzzle but this is close enough to one. And it is kind of a skill issue as some people are better in certain problem solving areas than others, notably in either hands-on learning or attention retaining.

*cracks knuckles* I'll give these a whirl for the love of puzzle solving.

EDIT: completed them but used the quick exploit of pressing start before the puzzles shuffled because it does get rather annoying trying to get the picture right when two pieces are in different spots and feels impossible to rearranged. Feels like that episode of Whatever Happened to Robot Jones where those weird brothers cheated by switching two stickers of a rubix cube so Robot Jones couldn't solve it and short-circuited.

I'm having an issue with the Christmas 2024 event. For some reason the ninth special gallery image won't unlock for me despite having found all 8 of the "gifts" needed to unlock it. Is anybody else experiencing this issue? Tyia

You need to find the last gift for the christmas event, did you look in the cheat? the one i was not findind was there.

Hmmm. this is really strange, you have all 8 Christmas images (the 9th unlocks after having all previous 8).
AND it seems that you have all gifts but the last two (the twins, and Lisa) but Lisa's green question mark isn't there...
I'm checking the code right now.

I have been testing everything and I can't replicate this. You got SOME Christmas gifts on the previous update and continued on this one?

Just fixed Lisa's "?" not showing up, but its only a visual, this never affected the game.
Btw, just in case, try to get both the twins and lisa's gifts

Just got the ninth image after clicking on the gift in the codex menu. I believe I got the first two on the previous update, so that was most likely the issue. Thanks a bunch for the help

It's a text heavy game, yes.

The game doesn't rely on Text as there is plenty of art to go with it. But we are putting the "Novel" in Visual Novel.

Yeah i'd say this game has perhaps the most equal balance of quality writing and art out of anything else i've ever played. The writing is immersive and very faithful to the actual show, while the art is really different from alot of other games but I find to be really endearing and provocative~.

For that one, you can unlock it by reaching 10 Love points with Lori, or using the cheat "skillissue"... FOR NOW, because on next update I will nerf it to only unlock events stuff.

Thank you! It's now fixed. I added that cheat and didn't really tested it enough, it was a last minute addition, still, as I said in the other response in this message, I will nerf that cheat.

Which ones are being lost, and on what platform?
I reset everything on my end so often while working and testing that I never noticed this.
