Couple of things to address
The Ronnie Kiss: Yeah I kinda dropped the ball there. Writing that I didn't think I would end up deciding to do a chapter within a chapter as a Ronnie flashback. I tried to say Lincoln didn't consider it a real kiss, but it is what it is.
Neil Gaiman says the best way to write a book is to write it and then write it again only this time make it look like you knew what you were doing the whole time.
We'll go back and fix it at some point, it's just a simple little line change, but right now it's there.
On the Carlotta Rape:
It doesn't go to that. Lincoln will save her. It's there because it, well it turns Lincoln into a hero in the eyes of the Casagrandes. This isn't a dark Japanese hentai so we'll never have stuff like that happen, but there will be dramatic moments here and there if they help the greater story.
On the lack of sex scenes
So alas, my descion to squeeze the Ronnicoln flashback in was on the basis of making Ronnie a fully fledged character for those who've never watched the show versus doing what is probably more appropriate for a sex based visual novel.
That's on me as the writer.
To make up for it though we have three awesome sex scenes almost back to back that happen after Carlotta is saved.
Obviously we try to balance sex and story when we can but in this instance we front loaded a bunch of story so we can get to more erotic lewdness and it all make sense.
