IMHO anything outside the Lewdest House itself feels stretched and off-topic. The road trip itself with big sis was fine, but this whole past update focusing on a bunch of LIs I would be perfectly happy to never see again was a full skip for me. Not sure if this whole side-quest is actually part of some later important plot or just filler to extend the game, but it sure didn't do much for players playing a family game marketed as a family game.

You guys are jumping way to far ahead with all of this.
The premise of the game has always been, Ronnie vs the Sisters. Ronnie has her own Harem that comes with her. Lincoln needs to experience both to really make an informed decision. Believe it or not, there are Ronniecoln fans out there who plan to choose her *OVER* the sisters.
As for me, the writer... I like both Ronniecoln and the sisters... So Ronnie is going to get her full chance to state her case, about why she's the superior option versus the sisters.
Lori is also in this chapter, so you'll get lots of alone time with her and Lincoln. But Ronnie needs to get her full parts too.
After this, you'll get a little more freedom in how you decide to approach things.
But as it's been said, Ronnie will have a presence throughout the rest of the game. You can decide to not choose her in the end of course... That's the whole point of the game, for the player to have choice.... But we'd be doing Ronnie Anne fans a disservice by just booting her from the game completely.
That and like I said, as the writer, I don't wanna do that. I like Ronnie Anne, she's my primary ship with Lincoln.
So yes, you WILL be able to break up with Ronnie Anne and ultimately choose the sisters.... Just like you'll be able to break up with the sisters and decide to choose Ronnie Anne.
But it's not going to happen right away. The end of Chapter 3 will be the end of "Act 1", and you won't be able to make a final choice until "Act 3".

Will there be a super secret third option to make the relationship between the sisters and Ronnie Ann work? Like picking specific options so that everyone has enough affection points to mediate a harem truce, or playing through both endings to unlock the true harem ending?
Of course, it wouldn't be a super secret option if you divulge that info, would it?
I was just thinking of VNs like "Sisterly Lust" where there were complicated routes and choices that the player had to take.

2024 was one of the most years that have yeared so far, at least from my POV. We got the full nsfw game development experience:
- Completing a big chapter that was longer than expected.
- Getting cancelled.
- Then getting raided.
- Then getting banned.
- Then getting banned but on other platforms.
- We got our own site while daydreaming of future projects.
- Stablished our name.
- Got animations, broke the game because of them.
- Fixed the game again.
- Added an online function to prevent future problems (the news system), broke the game in the process too.
- Fixed the game again (lol).
- We got "grunt-voice acting" lines recorded for some characters but didn't implemented yet.
- Got a trillion subscribers across Fanbox and Unifans
- And made a seasonal update with "different/special" stuff.
And this doesn't count CatSpeaker's and mine's irl events!

If I had to guess I would bet that much of the divide probably is based on players who have never seen or cared about the show it is sourced from vs. players who did know the show and characters first. Those of us who know nothing about the show don't come into the game for probably anything other than the family content it is tagged for. I guess if you know the Ronnie Anne character from the show it makes sense that you would want her to be a part of the story of the game too, but for players who don't know her coming in she really comes off as an annoying and demanding extra charater we could do without. Because we don't know her at all and she wasn't a significant part of this game until now it all seems shoehorned in. Maybe if the trip to visit her and jump-start her harem were moved a bit earlier in the game it would engage non-show players a bit more with her character?

Maybe you got distracted by all the sister sex... But Chapter 1 and 2 featured Ronnie as the driving motivation for everything Lincoln was doing.
Ronnie was stated as important from the first scene of the game. The entire point of the flashback is to fill in the details of why Lincoln likes her so much.
If she doesn't work for you, that's fine. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but please don't gaslight me about the plot I literally wrote.

I just want to point out that this isn't entirely true. I also have never seen an episode of The Loud House in my entire life. It aired at a time when I was already done watching cartoons. But I didn't come here specifically for the family content. In fact, I had seen this game over a year ago and didn't give it a chance back then because I thought it was nothing but such content. It wasn't until recently after a specific event that I decided out of curiosity to give it a chance and found out how great the plot and art was.
The fact that there is also a choice to pursue some normalcy as opposed to only being locked strictly to the family not only very much lends itself to the plot in a positive way but also opens up more options for the player and therefore, more replay-ability. So yes, not everyone who is reading this without any prior knowledge to the show came here for the in-house (pun intended) content.
