Just finished this gem up to the current free chapter. It's now my most favorite OELVN in existence!
With recent flashback highlighting Lori's love for Bobby, I am REALLY curious how it is going to be handled. Next (well, likely one after newt two?) update can't come fast enough! (and at the same time, no need to rush it, this matter gotta be handled with all due development space and time. I fully trust devs will, of course))
The chapter I am most loking forward' however, isfull house orgy ending with skip to family picture with all the round bellies ending Lisa chapter. How her character development will mesh with an, ahem, arrangement, that's gonna be interenting. And scenes's gonna be epic too XD But I kinda expect it to be about last one, seguing into dramatic ending of her concluding that that potion (Homogenous Solution! ...Well, Not!Homogenous Solution!)) being some sorta pheromone booster, sending Lincoln into depth of drama over all situation being "fake and forced by drug", for girls to unite into emotional "our feeling for our brother has begun far before that, they are real, always were and always will be" scene... and Lisa finally remembering it was actally placebo drink for some blind test XD Well, wildly off-mark phantasies like that are fun way to pass the upcoming years till that XDXD

Most of the update was good but well ... I hate the forced mugging scene ... no really why is this here this is not an action story it's not shovel ware watch the girl get raped game from the trash bin it's a heart felt drama that just had a really touching and moving flash back ... and you choose to end it on this .... you have one more chance if you do this again I'm done with you this is pathetic.

Edit: We had Lincoln reject Lucy and have the game appear to be heading towards a bad ending before the reconciliation between Lincoln and Lucy happen.
Trust us enough that this mugging scene wasn't put in randomly for rapey titillation, but is integral to further events in the story.
Or, don't and just stop playing the game.

Look I've been burned a lot by devs on here I don't trust you and I don't intend to until your game is complete. I've simply had too many devs disappear and never come back or start selling their unfinished work and never use that money to complete it. that and the cliffhanger ending is a pet peeve of mine. especially ones that leave things on a bad note it ruins my mood and I'm not here for that so I'm very critical of it. I genuinely feel that mugging scene was in poor taste for what you had just set up and was badly done. huh that being said I will admit I over reacted I was in a very good mood because the rest of your work on that update was so good and then that hit I basically went from cloud nine to rock bottom and that was reflected in my opinion there. that cliffhanger hurt me and you more than it helped your story or interest in it I firmly believe that and I'm sorry for letting that make me more aggressive than I should have been but I stand by what I said the mugging scene feels unnecessary and forced maybe there is context for it I haven't seen yet but that's just it that was the end of the update. so that context doesn't mater cause I can't see it. as things stand that scene just ruins a good experience for the sake of a plot point that is not in yet and If all the updates are going to end like that then yeah I won't support or play your game until it's done I don't want to have to deal with that and I'm not sorry for it.

I think you need to calm down a bit friend. That was a wild and continuous rant with no breaks. At least in the middle of it you realized you were overreacting a little but went right back to it afterwards. From my understanding, a lot of people don't like how this current free update ended, but it's already been confirmed that the scene won't go as you think it will by the devs. So be at ease.
If you don't like where it ended, then you can support them to get the next part of the update. Otherwise, just wait patiently like the rest of us freemiums or as you said in your post, wait until the game is finished. I want nothing more than to continue the story as much as anyone else here, but as people who are getting the experience for free, we don't have too much of a leg to stand on here. Devs abandoning their games can be a problem, but not every dev is like that, and taking it out on these fine gents won't make things better for you.
In fairness, I can understand why the mugging scene is seen as a bit controversial. For me it's not because the mugging itself is the issue. The issue is that it leans a bit into Fridging territory. Putting a character through a traumatic experience for the sake of giving the other character development. In this case, making Lincoln look like a hero to Casa family.
Now on the flip side, I do have guesses why Lincoln needs to look like a hero. One leading one is that the Casa will be more inclined to accept Lincoln's decision to end things with Ronnie (To be with Lori) and stop her from making too much of a fuss.

Ok, I will show up for a bit just to point up very little details in the game. (No chapter 3 spoilers)
- During chapter 2's development, one update ended RIGHT after Lincoln broke Lucy's heart.
- On chapter 3, one update ended RIGHT after Lincoln broke Ronnie's heart.
- This update ended RIGHT during a very dangerous moment.
- And many other updates ended RIGHT after a sex scene/chapter ending (that also ends with sex)
Maybe some of you realized it already, but our updates are intended to end at specific parts of the story, and not just random and overused "This is all the content for X's route in this update!". Think of these update endings as commercial breaks, they don't appear when they main character is brushing their teeth, they are placed either right after a climax or at the highest dramatic point in the "act".
If the updates ended on "boring" parts, it will be a worse experience for everyone.
Now, regarding developers quitting or abandoning the projects, or being sellouts to their patrons and adding a lot of crap, etc... I know we can just say "trust us, bro", but the truth is, this is my job, I pay rent with this, killing the game with a stupid rape scene, or NTR, or any other bullshit would be a financial suicide.
Even if someone offers me a ton of money to add that to the game, I would say NO, because way before I made this game, I made NSFW drawing commissions, and I didn't accepted either rape or NTR scenes, why would I add it to the game I have been working on for 2 years?
Anyways, I hope this make things clear to everyone, in special those who are new here, and yes, I understand people's fear of this game doing a 180º turn in the direction because of how common it is nowadays with western nsfw games. I promise all of you (players in general) that I'm not going to make a game I don't want to play.

Look this update ruined my mood and I for personal reasons didn't like it. So I spoke my mind and a lot of what I said came from my heart. I've dealt with and given money to shitty devs and I play these games for specific reasons. a lot of the time it's just to get off but if a game has an actual story to it be it good or not I'm here for that and I'm looking for feel good storys that's what this is portrayed as that ending was left field. did it cause me to overreact. yeah it did. was that the fault of the devs? no. was it intentionally out of no where and meant to build suspense as well as give context like some one above me said while the next update comes out? yeah it was. is it a bad thing? no. do we have a say in how the game or any game is developed while not paying to help make it. no. does that mean we should shut up and keep our thoughts to ourselves. HELL NO. can we be more respectful about how we say it. yeah and we need to be. do we have to tho? no we don't if we're having a bad day or are over reacting to somethin or if you just wanna be a dick about it you can be and people have to deal with it.
I just wanted to vent. I did it here so people would know what the fuck I was bitching about. I've done this before and I always get the same little snots weather I'm respectful or not telling me it's free so just shut up and be happy about it or your not the dev so you don't have a say I don't care. ... look I never wanted to start shit here I never wanted to respond to any of this.
