Ren'Py The Lewdest House [v0.2.34 Public] [Cathornero Games]

I'm running into an issue launching the 0.2.34 and 0.2.34a versions. I get a series of renpy errors involving the spanish translations then a game crashing bug. I've tried several different downloads and the hotfix to no joy. Anyone have any ideas what seems to be going wrong on my machine? I believe I have been able to run older versions.

If you show me said renpy error screens, I could help you.
In the meantime, it's a clean install, or you just extracted new files over an older installation?

I've mostly done overwrites, but my initial 0.2.34 try was a fresh directory (still had the renpy save files).

The developers release public versions of the game every 2/3 versions for free. The non-public versions are a reward for those who support the project financially.

I know this is a pirate forum, and the game is super good, but the developers are cool, and begging for a non-public version from cool developers is in poor taste.

I kindly encourage you to stop and just be patient.

The error appears because the game is seeing that the same line is being translated twice in the game files. This is CLEARLY because old files are clashing with newer ones...
Did you downloaded the game with a translation from a different site, or applied an unofficial translation patch?
For a quick fix, just go to:
game/tl/spanish/define.rpy and delete that file, that would clear any other possible error of the same nature with that file (at the expense of losing a couple of translated lines in some menus.

Thank you, that's why I don't understand many devs who get so angry with their game appearing here. If you easily offer a good product, then piracy is not going to make you any cent poorer.
Also we release free, public versions 30 days after the supporter one, so it's actually 1 paid, 1 free, 1 paid, 1 free(...) with some exeptions like quickfixes, and updates without new story content (Like the 3 events so far, those drop for everyone at the same time just because I feel like doing that.) Even more, 0.2.33 dropped for free like 15 days earlier because the last supporter one took us like 70 days, and wait for the free one was getting too long:

When we drop monthly/semi-monthly updates, with free ones dropping just 30 days after the paid one, offer translations, listen to feedback, don't paywall content, don't succumb to whales, and simply do your best, piracy isn't a problem. No matter if we are a 2-man team doing a wincest game, or a billionaire business.

With this game, in 3 years, a paid version appeared on this site only ONCE... When? +30 days after said paid version launched, because I was actually taking too long to drop it for free myself (I don't remember why it was exactly, but I wanted to fix some stuff, or redraw something) What I did after that was just keep my mouth shut and just think "I got the message, my bad, I get it ✋"

Recently played this after not playing for two years, honestly surprised the development slowed down this much, but it was probably due to all the art changes, kinda sucks cause i liked the old art. Still a very fun time, and i like that you included a cheat menu now.
