Really strange behavior, this game. Downloaded the exe to my normal download directory. Since it's not zipped, I simply copied it to a new folder in my Games area where everything else goes. I ran it from there, but it created a save file in my Downloads. Not its own folder.

Buggy mess right now. Hard pass.

I like the direction of the game, definitely a mix of some mechanics we've seen before with some new ones and a different setting. However, it's a little too buggy to enjoy right now. I'm having a error message pop up when giving survivors to clients, and while I can continue playing, the game seems to think I have a full survivor roster when I no longer do. The balance does seem ok; I was able to run at a supply profit, but it definitely took some doing/good starting RNG.

This is giving me virus vibes. Have people safely downloaded and run this?

I tried the itch.io version first to confirm it's a real game, which it is. I was a little sketched out too but have run it locally as well.

We set up a GitHub action to make deploying the game easier and faster. While we did that, our build versions got messed up, but they’re better now. Right now, our dev version is v0.17.0 and this has a lot of the bugs mentioned here fixed. It just needs to trickle to the public version.

Tbh, I didn't mean just low muscle, but uncanny valley effect, likely from proportions (maybe legs too long for men, or one leg longer than another) or angle (men are more sideways than women), something felt unnatural, low muscle just amplified it.
Women proportions look more convincing, but they are 20% shorter in-game. So, if a female is typical 165cm average woman, than male is 2m tall - that's too much, maybe shorter men with shorter legs would look more proportionate, idk.
