Your system can't read Japanese. It's reading the whole thing as ????.

Did you set your locale to Japanese as instructed? Alternatively, did you use locale emulator?

Yes, I changed the locale to Japanese but I didn't use the locale emulator (I'm using Winlator, I don't know if that causes problems)
Hmm, if you changed your locale to japanese in Windows, then you shouldn't need to use any emulators. They might be messing something up in such a case.

I'm sorry, but I didn't test if the game or translation could work on Android. It was meant only for Windows. Emulation is not 100% accurate, so there might be problems running the game or translation like that. I can't help you here.
