Paid into this on patreon expecting that it would have actual content, and then when it got close he hedged and then ultimately just came out and told us it was going to be short and shit and that we would probably be pissed he spent all that time on it. Then he came out with the SC34 update, and that was even worse. Typical Russian milking poor saps who cling on to his patreon hoping for some of his past glory to resurface and being eternally put off.

Maybe if the game were about something else besides TMNT I would play it, even as short and lacking of content as it is, like basically any Disney property. I was never too much into the turtles as a kid, so this doesn't fulfill any childhood fantasies for me.
I could see myself playing this even with the TMNT if it had the greatness of Princess Trainer. Seriously, Gold Edition was Akabur's magnum opus, after that none of his projects had even half the content of the original PT, not even counting the GE. Magic Shop has over half the potions unusable and only 9 CGs, with only 3 involving penetration and the rest being blowjobs or just cumming on a girl's face.
Witch Trainer was the absolute worst, it had phenomenal grinding powers, only 2 sex CGs (which weren't even that good compared to a lot of Akabur's other stuff) with dozens of variations, and it was plagued by fucking chibis going at it. So after so much time spent playing this shit, you get so little reward. Truly a shame because I really enjoyed the writing and story for this game, it was funny.

I'm in full agreement, ever since the original Princess Trainer game came out, Akabur's game quality has been going down hill. While I loved TMNT, I just really didn't get into the whole "April gets raped by the turtles" thing... Shredder or a group from the Foot Clan, sure I could see that. But the Turtles... nope, plus as you've said the lack of content doesn't help.
Gold Edition is the only game he has put a lot of effort into since Princess Trainer, however I feel that even than his efforts in GE was less than that of the original PT game.
And while I did like the idea of Witch Trainer, I just didn't understand why most of the sex scenes were in chibi form or the ridiculous grind to get anywhere... and why there was a complete lack of CG's for each sex scenes, similar to how every sex scene in PT had at least one CG.
true, Witch Trainer is a masterpiece, its one of the best adult games ive played, including japanese games.They do seem to be a rape-y/molest-y lot, don't they? Then again, so do the Japanese.This is kinda disappointing coming from Akabur- his other games at least have more story/substance. Witch Trainer is still probably his most memorable.
