Hey dev, a suggestion: I quite liked the last update which was a small and quick release. I wonder if you could do one update like that in-between big updates that move the investigation forward. Especially since you said the next update will take months. It'll keep us engaged and it also makes sense that the priest isn't making breakthroughs every other day but his life at the monastery goes on.

That's what I've been doing sometimes, when it felt like a good time, to avoid running too fast forward with the investigation compared to the other things. I do what I feel is best at the given moment. Currently, I don't have a plan for a shorter update before the next big one, but things could change if I see that I would need to lay the groundwork for some coming story related things.
Or Dev stumbles across a cache of never before seen naughty nun porn source material where the scenes just write themselves!
Hi! Hadnt played in a while, but the game is amazing. Really enjoyed it so far. I would like to sugest letting the MC have encounters outside the monastery when he visits the town. It could either be random encounters or side quests. Or maybe a storyline where he leaves to visit his family/friends or something.
Is there something I’m not getting with the lust and temptation mechanic? You need temptation to do anything, but temptation requires high lust, so every day I have to go check every scene to see where I’ll need to have temptation (where the new content is), then reload, go raise my lust by doing “useless” events, go do one event where temptation is required to advance, then be forced to go whip myself and lose all my temptation, so I can’t do anything else that day. It’s either that or spend three days every time figuring out which event needs temptation and how to get enough for the requirement, but not too much to where you overdose on lust. Is this supposed to be for pacing’s sake?
Certain events give you a bit more lust than others and some give you a bigger boost if you are at 0. For example, ones that involve sex, like fucking Novice Emma will boost you to 30 lust or reset you to 30 lust if you are higher.
Other events like seeing Sister Jana in the garden for the first time that day will give you 10 points.
Once you pass 70 points (your resistance stat), the temptation stat starts to boost as well. So you can get a maximum of 30 temptation this way.
There is sometimes a bit of a 'visit nun x, y, z' in a particular order to get your temptation to just the right amount.
Most notable when you are trying to get your corruption raised.
But once you get that, you can immediately move forward, with no arbitrary grinding like so many sandbox style games, where they make you repeat things X times for reasons.
I much prefer this 'figure out the puzzle / order to do things and move on' approach.
