Is gay content fucked up? No, gay people can have their games to enjoy too. Only problem is when things come OUT OF FUCKING NOWHERE. Like playing a game that's in one genre for 99% of it and then a scene polarizing content pops up with no way to avoid it. It's not just gay content, dickgirl, guro, scat and other such fetishes need to be clearly labeled or be in games that are strictly about that stuff.

The term and/or feeling of disgust is open ended and dependent on the individual... What one person finds disgusting, might only be marginally bothersome by someone else... You can't generalize a word like disgust or what disgusting means for every living person... If that person finds it disgusting, then that is how they feel... This thread isn't about agreeing or disagreeing with other peoples opinions... Or discounting their feeling of what is disgusting just because you don't have the same feeling...

I may love eating crunchy cereal but think soggy cereal is disgusting, but someone else may love soggy cereal... Nothing wrong with a that in either direction...

Of all the VN/Games I've tried over the years, the one I felt was the most wrong and disgusting was:

Starless: Nymphomaniac’s Paradise

Both it and the Anime series it is based on, are wrong (in my book) on many different levels... I think it has some of the most over the top, outrageous, far fetched, evil, and disgusting things in it's story and plot, that I've seen thus far in this market... What is sad, is there has been a recent VN/Game that started a little while ago, that is somewhat following in this things footsteps... Not necessarily with the Asian visuals, but some of the key story and theme elements... Almost to the letter... Which may put it in the same category (at least in my book), if it keeps it's current heading...

In any case, I've ran into some others over the year that I felt had some disgusting things, but I will not get into all that mess right now...

As far as books, none that I can think of, because if it has that kind of stuff, I don't bother reading it... I'm far more picky about books I read then any other source of entertainment...

Some of the most disgusting things I've seen in movies, would have to go back to some of the older 70's and 80's low budget horrors that used to get played on Sunday nights on Elvira Mistress of the Dark's late night TV program... The worst ones were anything having to do with Voodoo and/or Voodoo curses...

I feel the same way. Almost everything is fine for some target audience, as long as it is properly labeled. But a woman growing a penis out of nowhere, a character suddenly turning gay or a guy interupting a hot lesbian scene can ruin a game for me.
