Abandoned but I really enjoyed the story and the mother scenes. It is worth a try if you haven't tried it out yet.

Also, Innocent Witches has come a long way since it was released and is very different from what it was like in the past. If you played or hated it before I suggest giving it another go. (Check out the thumbnail preview images of how it has changed since).

Off the top of my head, this ones are pretty good and don't have as much support (making less money/less patreons):

Ataegina: https://f95zone.to/threads/ataegina-v0-3-5-kthulian.20163/

Medieval-esque setting with magic, lots of decisions for players to make, 3 different paths, pretty interesting story so far.

Reluctant Archon: https://f95zone.to/threads/reluctant-archon-ch-3-alpha-kyois.27830/

Magic in "current" year, certain aspects remind me of the show Lucifer. Good story so far and also quite a bit of decision making.

Queen's Curse: https://f95zone.to/threads/queens-curse-ch-1-v0-4b-3r3ct.31087/

Interesting plot, some decision making so far, all in all quite enjoyable.

As a side note, "Ataegina" and "Reluctant archon" alongside "WVM" (left it out because it is doing REALLY well, definitely not underrated) are the only 3 games that make me feel like: "I can't wait for the next update".

The game has some of the best characters that I've seen in a game, in terms of writing and design; with a game mechanic (diaries) that let you know about the character's currents thoughts/feelings towards MC and the events that hey both share.

The game isn't that popular, I don't know why, even tho everyone that I recommend it to loves it.
