LOL, when Duke Greene mentioned that Cherry Blossoms game this came to mind. The only reason I remember it though is that I had no idea what Sakura meant, assumed it was the name of a monster of some kind (hey, the only hentai I knew of at the time were Urotsukidoji and La Blue Girl), and was very disappointed when I actually tried the game.

I still remember spending a fair amount of time playing the game and constantly wondering when the tentacle monsters were gonna appear.

I do find this thread concept interesting,
I was also trying to find fully vanilla games for science but once you start looking for them you realize how hard it is.

Even looking at no sex content tag it is hard to find fully vanilla stuff, in fact probably some of the least vanilla stuff is there.

But when it comes to wholesome game I agree that teaching feeling probably gets it if you follow the romance route.

Could it be the premise of the games that imply this ?

Even in amateur porn movies, there's not much where the couple gently and tenderly make love. So, games that would be purely vanilla would have to rely on something else to be interesting, either the story or the game mechanisms.
As for games with no sexual content, they need to have some kinks to be appealing for a larger public. Else they would probably don't end here.

What is the most vanilla game you can find on the site?
What I mean is
1) No taboo relationships
2) No corruption
3) monogamous (monogamous games are quite rare, monogamous games that aren't based around corruption are even rarer.)
4) head pats and hand holding

Currently the most vanilla game I could think of is

If you mean monogamous games where you don't even have the option of cheating, I can't think of any, honestly. I can think of several which stay pretty vanilla if you don't cheat, but the graphic sex scenes kinda ruin it for your list.

I think that's the main reason my mind jumped to grab two titles that were first released on the PC-98 in the mid nineties, and even then those titles seemed to need a little hook to get noticed (one has heroines that look remarkably similar to characters from popular anime of the time, while the other is arguably an H version of Tokimeki Memorial.) Hell, in thinking about it a bit more about it, I'm starting to think that True Love might be disqualified from being vanilla because of its localization, ironically enough.

As for titles produced in this century? There's the challenge, as while I can of quite a few vanilla-ish titles, they all seem to have that one toe out of bounds to be considered vanilla in the end, usually from your good ol' Japanese weirdness. But more often than not it's that "ish" that separates them from the pack and makes them worth giving a try.

While I do have another title in mind that could be seen as vanilla (though it does come with a big * that needs explaining), I still can't believe the most vanilla game I can think of on these boards is a game made by 4chan who's title translates to "disability girls", nevermind the fact it's somehow not a raging dumpster fire.
