Funny, my feeling is the exact opposite. And I hate Netorase. And most of the time I see the netorare tag, the description tells about some loser "with a strange fetish"...

weird because in general... thats how most netorare games start... the main differences between netorare and netorase, at least this is what i was aware of, is the mc is willing, and is that in netorare the girl eventually breaks up with you and leaves for the bull. which i fucking hate. so alot of netorase stories, where the mc is willing, all end in netorare because the girl leaves. maybe they think thats more realistic or some shit idk, but i hate it.

the number of netorase/sharing games where the girl never leaves the mc and actually cares about him the whole way through is like 5 in all history. its like finding lost treasure whenever you can find a game where you just whore out your girls and they still stay with the mc anyway, because they cared about them beyond just sex. idk, its more like i get off on the loyalty after everything lol. they will fuck anyone i want but still always come back to me. thats hot.

Even better when I, the player, like some god-like being, have the possibility to steer the whole drama in a for the couple even more unfortunate direction.
Or, tl;dr: I like to see them suffer.

The game will have 3 main routes: Obsession (Netorase), Corruption (which will of course include corruption, netorare, and netorase), and Resistance.

drama you say? hmm, maybe thats the core disconnect here. my life has had more than its share of actual "spice" and "drama" and frankly im sick of it, so i avoid it even in games. so i assume the escape we are both trying to achieve is in a radically different direction, hence the contrasting tastes. makes at least a little more sense i guess.

as for the perceived insult, no harm done, it just read very hostile. though i do find it a bit funny that it was directed towards those "who insist games be exactly the way they like" as in my experience that is most often the netorare and the extremely anti-netorare people in most cases. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That's the advantage of not inserting yourself into a game: Even if my life has some turmoil from time to time, it's good to see someone who has even worse problems, even if it's just a fictional character and his problems are caused by me, by feeding his girl to the dogs bull.

We may pay attention to different things, so I mainly see guys jump into threads of ntr games, demanding a pure love route ("the graphics are so good! Why has it to be ntr?"), and later on lamenting that the afterwards inserted love path doesn't have more content than the other paths.
