I have to ask: Why the current versioning scheme/layout? These games go from 0.01 - 0.06 - 1.0. Usually versioning numbers are done as X.Y.Z indicating Major.Minor.Patch, but afaik there's no history here of releasing patches, just minor updates until 1.0. Which then also begs the question; why the leading 0 in each Minor version update? Why 0.06 instead of 0.6? Has any of these releases ever gotten to a 0.10 before 1.0?

I'm sad, this was one of the 3 games by this developer that I liked. In the beginning, Necromancer, even though it was wrong (the protagonist only summons Anastasia), but she disappears from the story. Aoi and Skye, after 0.6, are just goodbyes. I hope the developer remakes the game, giving it a story and including Male Dom (due to the way they talk).

The problem is that:
Dawn of Malice VS Family Breeding (aside from the art, it's a completely different game, so yes, Dawn of Malice was abandoned)
Rise of Outcast Hero VS My Demon Family (is there anything similar between the two? To me, they are separate things)

Not really fan of the games personally (the ones I've tried had good art, but not my kink and the lack of relevant story doesn't help), but I have so much more respect for even a rushed end over trying to milk a project with ever slower and slower progress. Not going to name any names, but one just needs to look at any of the 5+ year old projects where they have a tiny update every 6-12 months to know which ones I'm talking about...

Hey guys I made a better gallery mod since the one the game comes with is kind of a piece of crap.
1st I bought your (this game) on Steam. 2nd too many mean critics in the reviews. 3rd, improvements, its hotter when his bitches say they are HIS slut not just sluts, some of the other girls he cream pied could be in the final end pictures gallery summary too. Some of the text gets a bit wordy, but it makes up for the limited animation, so no worries. But you could be more successful with a bit more editing, if it doesn't break your bank, ask somone to proofread and give them a discord access to edit and submit suggestions for modifying. Steam it is unclear with some of the comments if they complained about something maybe the incest theme. Last update seems like July, not oct 24. Like I said its unclear if the steam version was complete as this one, so I downloaded it here again to make sure I had the latest, I may compare later.

No, dev forgets she exists. she isn't even in the epilogue.
She is explicitly breedable and fertile for you. but gets completely forgotten.

follow these steps:
- Download the market build and unzip (duh)
- Remove the quarantine that's imposed by Gatekeeper on about everything these days. In Terminal, type "xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine " without the quotes and drag the unzipped folder in the Terminal window so that Terminal will fill in the path to the folder for you. Mind there is a space between the command and the path. Hit enter. Quarantine should now be gone.
- Back to Finder. Locate the "Lost_at_Birth" app in the market build download and crack it open (right click, Show package contents)
- Check if the "Lost_at_Birth" file in the MacOS folder hasn't lost its execute permission during unzipping. Its kind should be Unix executable. If it's anything else, add the missing execute permission back to this file. In Terminal, type "chmod +x " without the quotes and drag the file in the window. Again, mind the space. Hit enter.
- Back to Finder. Create a new folder inside /Contents/Resources and name this folder autorun
- Now locate in the market build download the following folders and files: game, renpy, "Lost_at_Birth.py and "Lost_at_Birth.sh
- Move those folders and files from the step above to the autorun folder created in step 3.

Yea at this point I am just not going to follow this dev anymore.
If the games don't get abandoned then the story goes off the rails into a rushed ending with plenty of abandoned plot points/teased points.
At this rate I genuinely cant tell if its just money grubbing or if the main dev has a low attention span or something of the like, but it seems like these games keep getting rushed or borderline cancelled so they can immediately move onto something else. It really is unfortunate because these games always have such strong starts only to either ignore what was already set up or just abruptly end.

your not wrong, there is a game actually rn that is in dev that is making use of the VN genre and its also RTS and my god its taking awhile as its a solo game... that said i agree with this its never over until you actually make sure its fine tuned, and i can attest its not bad but it needs abit more before you can call it "complete." I would look it over and maybe add more in or do a separate copy of this game and make adjustments for more as it might be as a lack of a better word "complete" but still able to go abit more. there is another game that is a VN and they have in terms completed the dev of the game but are adding dlc to it so either that or do the best you can and make use of adding in extra to a copy and rerelease it when you are satisfied. im not critical of many games but i do see where this guy is coming from and i agree it is good for a dev to respond but im also a fan and i would hate to see that this was all there is to this game... the other works were awesome but this one kinda lagged behind if im honest and its not much the art but the story and even the flow were felt rushed. i wouldnt mind it being worked on more and released next year with more things but its insane how much i agree with critic ferver especially as harsh as it sounded. i do hope Whiteleaf you understand its definitely not bad but is in need of more like your other works seemed to be more loved than this one oddly...
oof i just saw the response again its crazy it was rushed but if anything id keep it on the "to be done" and make more for the game. its insane how rushed it was but i do hope that it gets more work in or even added content further down the road when looking back on it. the one thing i notice is that most devs dont even do that and it couldnt hurt to go back and add more things in or even dlc so the game sees at least a bit more play time as that brings people back for more or even more people to the community for your other works.
This VN had so much potential but the DEV gave up a quarter of the way through. such a shame really like he went from having a story to just a generic f the family in speed run mode and completley forgets about the summon who appears like 5 times in the whole thing then poof gone. half assed and so much potential wasted.
ok....the game had the potential to be something actually decent. but the dev doesn't really give you real choices. the story has only 1 real ending (except in the very first choice you make), and you end up dropping some pretty interesting females because the dev looks like he got lazy?...bored? or just decided to close the game off because he wanted to do something else. left all kinds of plot points off on a number of characters where it could have really developed into some really great but like i said. the dev apparently "popped his load" too early and finished off limply. so way to go dev....
Purely out of interest, what is the name of this game that pairs VN and RTS? sounds interesting.
Had a lot of potential, but its SO RUSHED, like holy. Im convinced he just wanted to get done with it so its not another abandoned entry on the games page.
Pretty sure he commented on this or another of his games' page that the game wasn't a financial success so he wanted to wrap it up.
Not optimal, but at least better than yet another game that just stops getting updates and just gets abandoned.
