Wanted to wish ya a happy new year '25 Ceolag , kinda writing a thank you note to all the Devs that made '24 memorable for me in terms of quality content and Neverwhere especially Kaija and Medb certainly made the cut so just wanted to appreciate that and greeting you a successful year ahead!

Hey everyone and Happy New Year.
I hope you all had a few nice days but I'm glad that lies behind me now.
Time to get back to my chill schedule of working around the clock. :-D
I did get a bit of work done and I finally finished the work on the current scene (yesterday...). Took me long enough and it feels good to move on to something new.
The PC's are rendering the remaining images and animation for the scene and once they're finished I'll put together the next internal test build.
After that, I'll start the work on the next scene.
Speaking of the next scenes: I started revisiting the remaining scenes planned for this update. I planned quite a few "alternative" scenes beside the "main path" through the chapter but I'll most likely cut it down a bit.
The development of this Chapter has already going on for quite a while and I still have some scenes that I want to have in the Chapter so I need to cut it down a bit.
Nothing important will be cut, though.
Mostly MC idling around at work and stuff like that.
it will streamline the path through the Chapter a bit more but it also means less work now and in the future (branching!).
On to the first numbers for this year...
140 new static renders for a total of 1316
9 new animations for a total of 42
317 new lines in the script file for a total of 3910

Nothing like starting the new year off with some good old numbers! Over the two week holiday break, Ceolag has averaged ~70 static renders, 4.5 animations, and 159 lines per week. Overall, that brings his average to 63 statics, 2.0 animations and 186 lines per week since work on Chapter 6 officially began. Here are the charts:

Tell me, when was the last devlog without Kaija front and center? Can you even tell me? My comment was nothing particularly about her herself. Even Ceo has apologised on Discord for it being nothing but her damn previews. So my comment was perfectly accurate was it not?
We'll be calling it the damn Kaija Tales soon.
