Sigh.... Another Ken doll protag RPGM game. I'd at least be a little interested if I didn't have to play x-generic male hunk.

Out of curiosity, does anyone actually enjoy this format of game even if done to a really high quality with tons of content?

Maybe it's just me, but I actually like to learn the story of interesting women in my h-games. Watch as they evolve throughout a story & hopefully have some player choice in that (although it's not required if the story is solid enough).

I often find with this style of game it's just some dude, who I literally will never care about. Wondering around picking up generic women who's personality you'll never learn (because the game focuses on the dude). Then proceeding to sleep with them before moving onto the next generic women.

Obviously different people have different tastes. But has anyone literally ever wanted to play as a male Ken doll, an have the story focus around them in their porn games?

Eh, I like a male protagonist. I can identify with the MC and get my fix for my adolescent power fantasies.

Nothing wrong with a female MC either, mind, but it's a different sort of game.

I agree to the point where, at least for me, more story and character development would make the entire game less shallow. After playing so many of these games the best way to make them feel more unique is to give the game more depth. Take a look at some of the more downloaded and discussed games on this site alone. The one thing most of them have in common is a story richer than the rest. It's more than hunk finds girl A bangs her silly then moves on to girl B. But in the end these are just porn games from small devs. Most of the devs don't have the time, and or skill, and or concern, to create a worthwhile story. And I am sure there is a nice sized audience that doesn't care either.

The problem lies mainly on the patreon format. You promise sex and patrons pledge to you so you give them sex. So there is no room for much character development when you have to offer sex as soon as possible. I like to think that people are willing to support games were character develops and you get rewarded with sex. Im actually banking on it for my game since in my game the sex will be contextual and the result of furthering a relationship. Lets see if i flourish or sink (Granted there are other aspects that could sink me regardless).

I don't think it is that so much as people are looking at games on Patreon that taking in more money a month then they can earn in 6 months working their McJob. So now because of this new gold rush we are getting games that are developed without any consideration giving to story and plot and just a series of ( mostly piss poor quality ) images thrown together for the purpose of mining our wallets.

While patreon has promoted the whole if you build it they come mentality, the games that feature even so much as mediocre story and plot seem to flourish and thrive. Just so long as you have these to work with all else can be changed as you go.

one of the biggest problems concerning developers on patreon and well really everywhere else to is that the game demos are so small in terms of game play that would be supporters don't even get an opportunity to form an opinion of the game yet alone decide if they wish to support it or not. They also typically fail to ask for thoughts and opinions as well bug reports, and more often then not upon receiving these they simply ignore offered advice and carrying on in the same manner. I cannot think of any of the horrible game's out there where the developer chose to heed the advice giving and improve the story / game play.

In a few days, most probably this weekend TNA 0.1 will be launched with 4/5 scenes.

Growing Up 0.5 maybe at the end of the month, but realistic from me would be to say somewhere between 6-10 of the next month, depending on how satisfied I am with the amount of content.

That's all i can say now but I would really like to know what would you like to see in those updates, comment below and i will try to quickly respond.(no pregnancy fetish please )
