Progress update V.1.1
About the new update
I have been playing the game over and over again, I have a full wall of sticky notes with ideas and general notes, about the story and characters. I will put everything I want to do for this update (spoiler alert) at the end of this post. There will be some story/gameplay progression, up to the end of Raven’s gameplay and I think I will end the update when gameplay switches back to Nick. Maybe I decide to do more when this is done, but I feel that there’s a lot of work already with adding content in the first two chapters. I feel like there should be more “Dom” scenes in the game, so I will add one big “Dom” event, it will trigger if you have picked to be “friends” with Alice’s stepmother Catherine. I feel good about everything I want to add, and can’t wait to start drawing and putting everything together.
About the date for the update
I want to do this right, and I want to do all of it. So I will not set the date for this update. I will try to make more progress updates and share art as I go along.
About the new game
For some time now, especially when I was on the brake, I have been thinking about joining forces with someone to work on The Night Driver. I was thinking that it would be great if someone would take over the Unity and dev part, and I could focus more on the story and art. But I think that at this point, this could be such a pain, and could slow down development even more. So I gave up on that idea, and will continue solo-dev. Anyway, the idea of working with someone, and focusing only on some parts stuck with me. A fresh start, new art, I could do it while I’m working on TND. I think it could be even good for my mental and general inspiration. The point is - I’m curious to know what you think about this, and even better if you are a dev, and you see yourself working with me on some project, feel free to start the conversation.
The new update design notes
Christina calls Nick:
When Nick brings a pie to Gina, if Gina’s love is lower than 15 she will tell Nick that Christina called him and left a numbber. When Nick calls her, she will tell him that she is at the motel (it’s the same motel where he needs to pick up Boris, just the other door).
Catherine calls Nick:
If you are “friends” with Catherine she will call you to have a drink at her friend’s house. BDSM scenes.
Add mechanics: Have a drink in Vasyl’s bar.
Party with Tanya and her friend:
One night when you go into the bar to talk with Nicole about Boris but she’s not there, if you ask for a drink, Tanya will ask you to have something stronger with her. If you accept and continue drinking and talking, her friend will come and you can go to a club with them. If you order drinks a couple of times, (if you have money) you can flirt with Tanya and fuck her friend.
Jen’s Dom scene:
After giving the files to Mery, if you go to the shop and if your Dom is more than 2 - it will trigger a talk to Jen about watching porn together and a Dom scene.
Look at girls:
At some points in the game add/enable the “Look” option for some girls, that art will not be in the gallery.
Nick, Denise, and Angel scene from Raven's POV:
At Joe’s when he has a party, if Nick fucked Denise and Angel, if you enter the room downstairs, you will see them fuck.
New story progression:
Raven goes to Vasyl’s bar.
Inside there are Tuna, Roman, and a couple of other guys. Raven talks with them and then goes into Nicole’s office.
Raven talks with Nicole:
Nicole knows that Raven’s real name is Nia Abrams and she grew up in Los Vargos. Her father was a cop and he, her mother, and older sister were killed, Nia seeks revenge for their death. The girl who wants Juan David Fuentes - The El Padrino - dead. That is a big dream, and Nicole likes that. If Nicole likes Raven she will flirt with her.
Nicole tells Raven that this will be their little secret. Tell her to go tonight to the club “Pink Flamingo” and ask for Aisha - Big Ma.
Raven in her apartment
Talking to Joe on the phone.
If Nick left his gun at Joe’s place, she would have to go to Joe’s and get it. That will trigger a voyeur scene if she has a camera on her.
Get ready to go out. Take a briefcase and camera.
Raven on the street / Joe’s
Ask Muffin to hide it for you. She will refuse, and Raven must call Aaliyah and go to her place.
After taking the gun from Joe’s place and giving the briefcase to Aaliyah, she goes to “Pink Flamingo”.

Ask for Aisha, she will give you a back VIP room. Optional: Ask for a specific girl to make you a company.

.... and there should be a way to add a new name for the mc at least the 1st name the second one could continue like an about name like this. The choice time is too fast too, should increase the seconds or increase the bar a little, as there is barely time to make the right choices.
