There seems to be a bug in my save. I'm pretty damn far in the story (Spring), with all relationship variables in the 400-600 range, but the option to date Laura or Rogue isn't available to me, only Jean. She gave me the go-ahead to date them, and I've done all their special events before moving on to the next chapters so far, but no dice.
Can anyone tell me if this is a bug and if it can be fixed?
Edit: I should also add that I haven't cheated or anything, though there were plenty of rollbacks.

Dev team decided to omit this early on. Popular consensus is not to punish the player or lock them out of dating.

there is a lot of promise here but the devs need to watch out for feature creep and the urge to redo things endlessly thinking it will be a better end product
Making Chapter 1 as feature complete as possible is being done so that way players will have a complete experience in the
SIGNIFIGANTLY OFF CHANCE that we decide to stop.
Also, if it's done in Chapter 1, it means all we have to do for future chapters is art and writing.

Kurt was originally just meant as a cameo but the dude is so beloved that he became an actual NPC and with the rising popularity more male characters will be added to be bros with.

Yes, the girls are actually pretty okay with you dating other people... as long as you let them know first.
Consent is important. Inviting someone into your relationship is quite a change.
We've stretched ourselves for reasons why the girls would be open to a relationship while still maintaining some level of realism.
This is ultimately a porn game no matter how good the writing is so there will be the occasionally spotty bit.

About the boys, without disclosing too much info I can tell you that they are not gonna die alone, at least not most of them (there are always some assholes, those might end up lonely)
We respect the characters more than Marvel does sometimes. Including one off characters that fit as good girlfriends for the dudes and are often neglected for several years by writers.
The writers have confirmed the guys will have off-screen girlfriends. We will not get to cuck them

I miss it that we dont see where the characters are on the map itself, that was a nice feature without having to look to the side at the rooms names and the character circle.
As I said previously, with characters being added it would clutter the map beyond reason. As some of you may notice, the girls are chilling out in the background rather than the foreground in some cases. Once we go above 3 characters, the space on the map gets blocked.
And secondly, for me the dotted background of the speech bubbles make it harder to read, i liked the more clear background (if i remember that correctly).
Gotta agree, the dotted text bubbles are honestly just incredibly ugly and downright painful/hard to read.
This can be toggled.
Oh how about if you could click on the character circle on the side of the map and go to that room? That could be a great shortcut.

We did fund the first release in house. We then ran out of money. Ron actually went into the red slightly.

We can't sell this game as it is a parody of an existing IP.
As it is now if it it takes 20 updates to finish with 2 months each and one is subbed at $5/mo that's $200 for a game when even a AAA title is $60-70
We surprisingly do work fast for the amount of content we put out/update. We also don't force anyone to pay for our work.
The only benefits of being a patron are-

2. You get access to the OST.
3. You help get the art done faster as we can pay the artist more.

I now know that you intentionally did this to give the characters more personality. However I'd like you to consider this from a video games perspective. This is what we'd call a "scripted loss", the players were lulled into thinking they could accomplish it simply because they were presented with the ability to "play" through it with a progression bar only to find out no matter what they do it's non-achievable.
I thought we did a good job of telegraphing the girls having different preferences. We also haven't put any scripted losses.
I believe shiny was mistaken. It is possible to bring even Jean to orgasm in the first season. It's not necessarily easy which as you said it is intentional, but it is possible.
I think something was lost in the conversation. If I said anything that implied that you can't get girls to finish then I'm sorry.
